Derrick Rose Out For Season With Torn Left Meniscus
DERRICK ROSE
New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose will miss the remainder of the season after tearing the meniscus in his left knee, the team announced Sunday.
Those close to Rose expect him to be at full health two months after the surgery, which will be scheduled shortly. Rose, 28, had played in 64 of the Knicks' 76 games this season.
Knicks coach Jeff Hor- nacek praised Rose's con- tributions despite New York's struggles this season and said he felt bad that Rose couldn't make it to the finish line of the season healthy.
Kevin Durant To Miss At Least Three More Games
KEVIN DURANT
Golden State Warriors for- ward Kevin Durant is inch- ing closer to a return, but it will be at least three more games before he gets there, according to coach Steve Kerr.
Kerr said Sunday that Du- rant has been formally ruled out for the team’s next three contests, and then they’ll go from there.
The next game after that would be April 8 against New Orleans, the team’s third-to- last game of the season. That would be the earliest we’d get to see Durant.
Kerr has stated his belief that Durant will be back sometime before the playoffs. It sounds like he’s getting pro- gressively closer.

Steve Francis won’t be going to jail for breaking into someone’s BMW, in Florida. All the former NBA star has to do is stay out of trouble for a year and meet other court- mandated stipulations.
Francis was hit with a felony burglary charge after al- legedly breaking into a stranger’s BMW and taking more than $1,700 of stuff in Florida in June 2016.
A rep for the State Attorney’s Office tells us Francis was ac- cepted into a pretrial interven- tion program on Monday, which means he’ll avoid prose- cution if he completes certain conditions. Francis will be under supervision for a year.

During that time, he has to undergo drug and alcohol eval- uations and complete any rec- ommended treatment.
He also has to do 50 hours of community service, pay a $7,300 fine and apologize to/stay away from the victim.
If the man formerly known as Stevie Franchise handles his business, prosecutors will drop the charges.
Tiger Woods Will Miss 2017 Masters Due To Back Injury
When the 2017 Masters tees off Thursday, Tiger Woods will not be on the course in Au- gusta competing for a green jacket.
Woods confirmed on his official website he won't be physically ready for the Mas- ters and is not putting a timetable on when he will re- turn:
Unfortunately, I won't be competing in this year's Mas- ters. I did about everything I could to play, but my back re- habilitation didn't allow me the time to get tournament ready. I'm especially upset because it's a special anniversary for me that's filled with a lot of great memories. I can't believe it's been 20 years since I won my first green jacket.
I have no timetable for my

return, but I will continue my diligent effort to recover, and want to get back out there as soon as possible.
Woods' absence from the Masters has been speculated for some time, with Brian Wacker of Golf Digest report- ing two weeks ago it was un- likely he would be ready by April 6 and that he "has not been able to play or practice since withdrawing from the Dubai Desert Classic" due to back problems.
After video circulated on so- cial media of former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Wat- son allegedly being asked to leave a bar in Tuscaloosa, Ala- bama, on Friday, the estab- lishment posted an apology to its customers and denied its employees were involved.
The incident, caught on cellphone video and distrib- uted on social media, showed Watson leaving the Innisfree Irish Pub after a conversation with other patrons.
"Over the years we have had thousands of visitors from rival schools and have always treated them fairly. Today was not any different," the bar posted on Facebook. "The un- folding of (Friday's) events were not led by our staff or anyone employed by Innisfree Irish Pubs.

"Unfortunately a customer attempted to invoke the right to refuse service on our behalf and after being identified, was immediately asked to leave the premises following the inci- dent."
Watson, who led Clemson to a 35-31 victory over Ala- bama in the College Football Playoff National Champi- onship game in January, has not commented publicly on the incident.
