The 2017 event will focus on women who have been incarcerated and would like to share their testimonies.
Minister Brennon Bat- tles and his wife, Sharon Battles will be hosting the 16th Annual Ex-Con Reunion on Saturday, August 12, 2017. The event will be held at Manifestations Worldwide, 3102 E. Lake Ave., Tampa (33610). Dr. Mark Jones is the pastor. The theme for 2017 is “Empowering Change Within Us All.”
The previous reunions have focused on men, Mrs. Battles explained, and some women felt offended. “But this year we want to have the testimonies of some women to help some others to get on and stay on a straight path,” she said. “Our goal is winning souls for Jesus.”
The Ex-Con Reunion was birthed by 8 men who were incarcerated at the same time at the same facility. They were at Marion Correctional Insti- tution. Minister Battles, Dr. Darrell Tolbert, Noble Washington (founder), Jamie Robin- son, Bishop Mike Ma-

Minister Battles, known as “BB,” is an electri- cian, who owns Beast Electrics. He said he and his wife formed a ministry, “Sons and Testimony of Deliverance Ministry.”
“We travel about the country with our ministry,” Mrs. Battles said. “Minis- ter Battles brings the Word and I sing.”
