Jerry Jones Speaks Out In Support Of Ezekiel Elliott, Says No Evidence Of Domestic Violence
JERRY JONES AND EZEKIEL ELLIOTT
Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones backed Ezekiel El- liott as the running back awaits possible discipline for an alleged domestic violence incident last July in Colum- bus, Ohio.
"I have reviewed everything, and there is absolutely nothing -- not one thing -- that had anything to do with domestic violence," Jones said at the Cowboys' opening news con- ference at training camp in Oxnard.
Jones, however, would not delve into whether Elliott could still be suspended by the NFL under the personal con- duct policy. A player does not need to be charged or found guilty by the law to be penal- ized by the league.

Oscar De La Hoya Says Conor McGregor Has 'No Chance' To Beat Floyd Mayweather
Oscar De La Hoya be- came the latest to discount Conor McGregor's chances against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. when asked about the up- coming fight.
De La Hoya told TMZ Sports that McGregor has "no chance" to beat May- weather, while pointing out the fact that even he was un- able to beat Money.
While De La Hoya fell to Mayweather in 2007, he came closest to beating the undefeated superstar than anyone else, losing by split de- cision.
De La Hoya said he wishes McGregor could pro- vide Mayweather with some competition, but that the only
way that could hap- pen is with a "flying kick to the head."
There
will be no
kicking on HOYA Aug. 26,
however, as McGregor and Mayweather will clash in a pure boxing match at T-Mo- bile Arena in Paradise, Ne- vada.
The 40-year-old May- weather will enter the fight with a perfect professional boxing record of 49-0, while it will be the first pro boxing match of McGregor's ca- reer.

The Washington Wizards and All-Star point guard John Wall have agreed to a four-year, $170 million exten- sion.
The deal, first reported by TNT, begins in 2019, the source said. It includes a fourth-year player option and a 15 percent trade kicker.
In a video tweeted Friday night by the UNINTER- RUPTED, Wall confirmed he had agreed to the extension, saying: "You know I wasn't going anywhere."
Wall, 26, has two years and $37 million left on his current deal.
ESPN reported June 30 that the Wizards had offered Wall a supermax deal, made possible because he was named to the All-NBA third team this past season. If Wall did not make one of the three All-NBA teams next season, he could have lost his chance for the megadeal.
JOHN WALL
Already this offseason, Washington brought back Otto Porter, Jr., matching a $106 million, four-year offer sheet he signed with the- Brooklyn Nets. The move kept Washington's young trio of Wall, Porter and Bradley Beal intact.
Beal signed a five-year deal worth approximately $128 million last offseason. He reacted to his teammate's rich extension late Friday night, to Wall's approval.
Cavaliers star LeBron James also tweeted his con- gratulations to Wall.
