MR. EDDIE LONG
Homegoing Services for Mr. Eddie Long of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on, Saturday, July 22, 2017, will be held on Friday, July 28th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, with a local minister, officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Ceme- tery, Bushnell, Florida.
Eddie was born De- cember 13, 1930 in Cot- tondale, Florida to the late Joe Long and Viola Hin- son Long. Eddie was an honorably discharged vet- eran of the United States Army. He was a member of Mt. Tabor M. B. Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Rosa Lee Long; sisters, Martha Peeples, Ida Lee Hester, Elma Long and Mary Clemons; brothers, J. D. Long and Joe Long, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories with: his step- son, Ralph Goff; sister, Viola D. White; nieces, Ethel Catlin, Sharon An- derson (Lester), Brenda Cogdell (Matthew), Olivia Harrison, Karen Long, Diane Long and Rosolin Clemons; nephews, Charles Long (Felicia) and Bernardo Richardson; and caregiver, Marcia Lawrence; and a host of other family members and friends.
The viewing will be held on Friday, July 28th one hour prior to the serv- ice at Aikens Funeral Home. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the serv- ice on Friday.

Ms. Brenda Pattersaul of Tampa passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Wake services will be held from 1-3 p. m., Friday, July 28, 2017 at Ray Williams Funeral Home.

Man Dies After His Vehicle Hits Tree

A 24-year-old Tampa man died Sunday after his vehicle struck a tree. The accident took place on W. Waters Av- enue, near Pinehurst Drive.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, the accident that claimed the life of Taylor McGarr took place shortly before 3 a.m. Police said McGarr lost con- trol of the black Toyota Corolla he was driving. The vehicle went into a spin, struck a median curb, and the back passenger door struck a tree. The car then flipped over as it uprooted the pine

Police said McGarr was
not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene.

LAMANT LISBON ... Killed on July 5th
On July 5th, a St. Peters- burg man was shot during an altercation with another man. Police have now identified the suspect and issued a war- rant for his arrest.
According to the St. Pe- tersburg Police Department, Lamant Lisbon, 42, was at the Crabb Paradise Hall when he became engaged in an ar- gument with 32-year-old Jerry Peterson, of St. Pe- tersburg. Peterson is al- leged to have shot Lisbon,

who later died.
Detectives have obtained
