Four young adults with ties to the Tampa Bay Area recently graduated from basic military training. All of the enlistees participated in their respective graduation ceremonies at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio, Texas.
Airmen 1st Class Christopher L. Daniel, Airman 1st Class Warren J. McRae, Airman Jaquez Polite, and Airman Gio- vanni D. Punto completed an intensive, eight-week pro- gram that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core val- ues, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
The Airmen also earned four credits toward an Asso- ciate in Applied Science De- gree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Airman Daniel is the
son of Stacy L. Daniel, of Spring Hill, and Clinton E. Daniel, of Tampa. He is the stepson of Vivian Daniel, of Tampa.
Airman Daniel gradu- ated from F.W. Springstead High School, in Spring Hill, in 2016. He earned an Asso- ciate Degree in 2018 from St. Petersburg College, in St. Pe- tersburg.
Airman McRae is the son of Caron J. and Myrick J. McRae; brother of Micayla S. and Bryce J. McRae; and grandson of Cynthia McRae, of Tampa. He graduated from Armwood High School in 2016.
Airman Polite is the son of Tiffani Cruse, of Tampa. He graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School in 2018.
Airman Punto is the son of Luz Punto, of Tampa. He is a 2017 graduate of Steinbrenner High School.
