Bishop J. Drew Sheard To Headline 50th Holy Convocation Of Jurisdiction Of Southwestern Florida, Church Of God In Christ, Inc.
On Wednesday, February 22, 2017, Bishop J. Drew Sheard of Detroit will head- line the 50th Annual Holy Convocation of the Jurisdic- tion of Southwestern Florida of the Church of God in Christ, where Bishop Matthew Williams serves as the Jurisdictional Prelate.
The Holy Convocation will begin Saturday, Febru- ary 18, 2017 with the musi- cal, 7:30 p. m., featuring Zebulon Ellis of BET’s Sunday Best.
The Convocation contin- ues Monday, February 20, 2017 with daily services through February 26, 2017. All services will be held at Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ, Inc., 2313 E. 27th Street, Tampa (33605).

White House Liaison And New York Mega Pastor To Speak At The Convocation
Mega Pastor Bishop Roderick L. Hennings, who serves as the C.O.G.I.C. denominations Director of Church Growth and Devel- opment, and White House Liaison, will be speaking Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Holy Convocation. That service will begin at 7:30 p. m.
Bishop Hennings is the Founding Pastor of Zion Do- minion Global Ministries, one church with two loca- tions, with campuses in Amherst, New York and Rush, New York. Hennings launched Zion Dominion Global Ministries in 1993 with 20 members, and has grown that congregation to currently over 5,000 mem- bers.
He will be the speaker for the Annual Jurisdictional Men’s Conference.
