Gamma Theta Omega, Incorporated Receives Grant From AT&T Foundation For STEM Education
Gamma Theta Omega, Incorporated has received a $14,000 grant from the AT&T Foundation. These funds will support Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incor- porated, Gamma Theta Omega Chapter’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education program.

Gamma Theta Omega President, Elaine Bryant said, “This grant will allow Gamma Theta Omega, Inc., to expand our goals of edu- cating a larger number of students from underserved communities in STEM fields of study. We will “wake up” the abilities that are already present and fully immerse them in an exciting world of Robotics, Drones, Experi- ments, Statistics, reporting and the way the program as- pects effect their lives. We feel certain that this program will influence future courses of study and employment opportunities. We are ex- cited to provide this level of professional training and
mentorship to our commu- nity.”
Gamma Theta Omega, Incorporated is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization serv- ing the Tampa Bay commu- nity since 1978.
Gamma Theta Omega Chapter was established in 1940 in Tampa, Florida. The Chapter has a long and stel- lar history of providing lead- ership and service in the Tampa community.
