MRS. ALTHEA BEATRICE BYNNOM
A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Althea Beatrice Bynnom of Tampa, who passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 will be held Saturday, October 15th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Elder Gerald E. Greene, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Althea was born August 21, 1931 in Tampa, to the late Fred Sallye and Mildred Dudley. Althea graduated from Middle- ton Senior High School c/o 1949. She was a member of St. Luke A. M. E. Church and enjoyed cook- ing, fashion and spending time with her family. She was pre- ceded in death by: parents, Fred and Mildred Sallye; grandpar- ents, Abraham and Gertrude Dudley; and sister-in-law, Thelma Sallye.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her daugh- ter, Jacquelyn Bynnom Wormack; grandchildren, Jowa- nia Preston and James Wor- mack, Jr. (Desiree); great-grandchildren, Charles Goins, III, James Wormack, III (Neka), Justin Sheppard, Jordan Preston (Marcedez), Isha Pre- ston and Trinatie Wormack; great-great-grandson, James Wormack, IV; brother, Fred Sal- lye, Jr.; grandniece, Valichia Palmer; nephews, Fredrick Sal- lye (Cheryl) and Jimmy Smith (Bridgette); cousins, Emma Rockwell and family; a host of other relatives, friends, includ- ing the Dudley, Copeland and Spanks families of Orlando, Florida.

BROTHER ROLAND H. JOHNSON
A homegoing celebration for Brother Roland H. Johnson of Tampa, who passed away on Sat- urday, October 1, 2016 will be held Friday, October 14th, 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. Dr. S. Evan Burrows, pastor, officiat- ing with Rev. Christopher Jarne- gan, eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Brother Roland H. Johnson was born August 4, 1931 to the late Oscar Johnson, Sr. and Frances Johnson. Mr. Johnson accepted Christ at a young age and joined First Baptist Church of College Hill where he attended faithfully throughout his lifetime with his family. Mr. Johnson was affec- tionately called R. H., Bull and Paw-Paw! He was a member of Choir Number 3 and in later years the Senior Adult Choir and Male Chorus respectively and enjoyed every minute of singing praises to God.
He received his education from the Hillsborough County School System where he attended Lomax Elementary, Booker T. Washing- ton and graduated from Middle- ton Senior High School. He also spent a year at Florida A&M Uni- versity before serving in the U. S. Army for two years, where he was honorably discharged.
His career achievements in- cluded successfully working 40 plus years at Winn Dixie as Ware- house Manager. He enjoyed watching football on Sunday af- ternoons and looked forward to spending precious time with fam- ily and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mamie L. Johnson; par- ents, Oscar Johnson, Sr. and Frances Johnson; sisters, Helen Jackson, June Johnson and Frances Johnson; nephews, Rev. Roland Oliver, Sr., Aaron Rawls, Archie Gary, Timothy Gary and Edner Gary; and niece, Mildred Gary Bush.
He leaves loving memories with: his surviving sibling, Rev. Oscar Johnson, Jr.; god-daughter, Tanya Gordon (Chris); godchil- dren, Angelia Thompson and Brian Marcus of Atlanta, GA, Alexis Evans and Taniyah Thomp- son; a host of devoted nephews, which include Aaron Jackson (Beverly), Oscar Johnson, III (Gay), Nathan Johnson, Brian Johnson, Daniel Troy (Doris), Crosby Gary (Yvette), Melvin Gary (Tommie), Larry Gary, Randolph Gary (Ming), Jerry Gary, Harvey Doleman, Johnathan Oliver and Roland Oliver, Jr.; a caring god- son, Rodney (Michael) Lasing; a host of devoted nieces, Nadine P. Johnson, Para Lee London, Agnes Robinson (Jerry), Sandra Gary, Judy Alexander (Leon), Cheryl Turk (Joe), Melissa Brantley (Carl) and Connie Gary; longtime friends for over 60 years, Alma Purify, Eartha Miller and Alberta Reed; loyal friend, Adrian Brock- man and a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thurs- day, October 13th, from 4 to 7 p. m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.

MR. ALFONZIA ‘BO’ HOWARD
Mr. Alfonzia (Bo) Howard of Tampa answered the Master’s call on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, October 15th at 11 a. m. at St. John Cathe- dral, 3401 East 25th Avenue, with Pastor Dwight Newkirk, Senior Pastor, and Pastor Tony Parker, Eulogist.
Mr. Howard was born in Monticello, Florida (Jefferson County) on July 10, 1933. He re- located to Tampa where he met and married Daisy Helen Green, who preceded him in death. To this union, 13 children were born.
Mr. Howard was preceded in death by: his wife Daisy Helen Green; parents, Christopher Columbus Howard and Ethel Hills-Howard; daughter, Felicia Howard; granddaughter, Rateasha Jones; brothers, Willie Parker, Sr., Earl Howard, and Bobby Howard; sisters, Lela Moore, Dorothy Holloway, Josephine Sampson, and Louise Towensend.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories with: 8 sons, Melvin Howard, Frank Howard (Feli- cia) of Port St. Lucie, Kenneth Green (Sylvia), Alfonzia Howard, Jr., Eric Howard, Mar- lon Howard (Jennifer), and Ter- race Howard; 10 daughters, Gloria Joyce Howard of Rochester, NY, Evelyn Brown of Greenville, FL, Shirley Gainey (Sam), Frances Harrington (Michael), Gwendolyn Howard, Barbara Walker, Geraldine Set- tlers (Eugene), Cynthia Riascus (Bill), Wanda Howard, and Crystal Howard (Marion/Lynn); 500 grandchildren, 200 great- grandchildren, and 140 great- great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Elmer Howard (Leola) and Frank Howard of Greenville, FL; 5 sisters: Alberta Pyron, Christine Staten of Ft Peirce, FL, Elizabeth McQuay (Nathaniel), Earnestine Bellamy, and Emma Jean Howard of Greenville, FL; brother-in-law, Richard Williams (Thelma) and Freddie Green, Las Vegas, NV; sisters- in-law: Mary Myers, Bernice Green, and Carrie Williams; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors on Park Street, and the Tampa Heights community.

MR. THORNTON ‘BUCK’ DAVIS
Mr. Thornton “Buck” Davis left his earthly home to be with the Lord on October 5th, 2016. Services will be held on Satur- day, October 15th, 2016 at 1 p. m. in the chapel at Harmon Fu- neral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610 with Rev. Matthew Redmon, Pastor, Shiloh Baptist Church, Sarasota, Florida, officiating. Interment will be placed in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, 33610.
Buck T. Davis, as he was known, was born on November 30, 1926, in Tallahassee, Florida, to the parentage of the late Nathaniel and Lula Davis. Buck attended the schools of Leon County. After moving to the Bay area as a young man, he met and married Helen R. Davis and to this union 8 chil- dren were born. He was em- ployed at the City of Tampa Water Department from which he retired after many years. He was also a self-employed plumber and his services were used by many in Tampa.
Buck was an avid baseball fan. In his earlier years, he played semi-professional base- ball with the Tampa Grays and the Pepsi Cola Giants.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, 23 siblings, mother of his children, Helen R. Davis and daughter, Renaye G. Davis.
He is survived by: 7 children, Cynthia M. Marsh (Carl), Thornton Davis, Shelia H. Davis, Gilbert G. Davis, Paul E. Davis, Ernie Carl Davis and Kenneth E. Davis; grandchil- dren, Michael Matthews, El- liott Davis, Thornton Davis, III, R. Tyrone Davis, Quinetta Marsh, Ariel and Erica Davis; 7 great grandchildren; sisters-in- law, Yvonne S. Williams, Ivalita S. Woods, Paulette S. DeBose, Sandra Smith (Walter) and Evangelist Bobie Bethea (Willis); brothers-in-law, Rev. Dr. James Redmon (Adarna), Andrew Redmon, III, Lewis Redmon, Lonnie Hill, Sammy Redmon, Jessie Redmon, Phillip Redmon (Delores), Rev. BROTHER BILLY O’NEIL JENKINS
Homegoing celebration for Brother Billy O’Neil Jenkins, who passed away on October 9, 2016 at 4:24 p. m. will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016, 1 p. m. at Northside M. B. Church, 5706 North 40th Street, Tampa, 33610, with the Rev. Ricardo Robinson Pastor, Apostle P. Jenkins, Eulogist; Apostle Clifton Holder, officiating. In- terment will be at Orange Hill Cemetery.
Brother Billy O’Neil Jenkins went to be at rest. He was born on November 19, 1972 in Tampa, to Mother Ellen Jenkins and the late B. O. Jenkins.
He was preceded in death by: his father, B. O. Jenkins: his nephew and great nephew, and his grandfathers and one of his grandmothers.
He grew up and resided in Tampa all of his life. He at- tended school in Hillsborough County. He congregated at Churches in Tampa all of his life. He enjoyed singing and music.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his mother, Ellen Jenkins; grandmother, Gladys Jenkins; 3 brothers, David Jenkins, Cedric Jenkins, Phillip Jenkins (An- gela); sister, Kaliah Latesha (Willie) Flowers; 5 aunts, Ethel Myers, Carrlelee Underwood, Laura Register, Lillie Register, Jewell Jenkins, 5 uncles, Charles Robinson (Min.
