MRS. PAULA FREENY THOMAS
A homegoing celebration in memory of Paula Kay Freeny Thomas, who passed away on September 21, 2016, will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11 a. m. at Abundant Life Non-Denominational Church, 4125 W. Nassau St., Tampa, 33607, Pastor Karen Barnes, Senior Pastor, Pastor Glenn Corriette, Officiant. In- terment will be placed in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Paula Freeny Thomas was born to Curley and Eunice Freeny in Tampa on June 19, 1955.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Curley Freeny, Sr.; mother, Eunice Faye Freeny; brother, Raymond Freeny; and sister, Glenda Hit- man.
Paula transitioned from this life on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Paula’s life was a meaningfulone.Aftergraduat- ing from Jefferson High School, she went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Mathe- matics from Tuskegee Univer- sity of Southern California, and worked as a Computer Pro- grammer for Hughes Aircraft until she was no longer able to work.
Most important, Paula Thomas was faithful to her call- ing to God and the church, Abundant Life Non-Denomina- tional Church under the Lead- ership of Pastor Karen Barnes, Senior Pastor. Paula was quiet, peaceful and loving. She was also strong in her knowledge of the scripture and an ardent prayer warrior.
Paula leaves to celebrate her legacy with: her husband of 14 years, Tommy Thomas; sib- lings, Joseph Bethune (Mary), Curley Freeny, Alvin Freeny (Sherly) and Eddye Freeny (Pamela); sister-in-law, Gereatha Thomas, Dollena Davis (Daniel); brothers-in- law, Vernon Thomas (Carol) Donnie Thomas, ResHaye Thomas, (Coach Charles White) and wife, Elousie; also left to cherish her memory are nieces, nephews, cousins and loving church family and a host of other relatives and friends.
The processional at Abun- dant Life Non-Denominational Church will arrange at 10:45 a. m. on Saturday morning.

MS. MARIAN YVONNE WILLIAMS
A birthday homegoing cele- bration for Ms. Marian Yvonne Williams, who passed on Octo- ber 8, 2016 at Melech Hospice House, will be held, Saturday, October 15, 2016, 11 a. m. at BRYCG Christian Center, 2501 W. Rio Vista Ave., Tampa, Florida 33614, Pastor Rochester Jacobs, Sr., officiating.
Marian is preceded in death by: her mother, Ms. Estelle Walker Richardson; father, Mr. Robert Lee Williams; sisters, Ethel Harrell, Mary Brown, Vera Micher, Cynthia Richard- son; and brother, John Williams.
Marian was a native Florid- ian and lived in Eustis and Lees- burg, Florida for the last 10 years. She was a very loving, caring, and sweet person that will be truly missed, especially her smile.
Marian leaves to cherish fond memories with: a daughter, Paquita Williams; 2 sisters, Vin- nie (Viney) Jackson and Theresa Magee; 3 brothers, Moses Richardson, Robert Williams, and Anthony William; aunts, Mildred Thompson, Viola Walker; nieces, Gayle Harrell, Antionette Foggo, Venita Richardson, Sonya Richardson, Michelle Wicher, Rojina Du- rant, Angela McNeal; nephews, Anthony Brown, Keith Williams, Eric Ingram, Arthur Brown, Rovard Micher, Regi- nald Scott, Xavier Magee, Charles Chambers, Kingsley Peart, Clinton Harrell; cousins, Ella Williams, Myrtle Brantley, Patricia Walker, Danette South- erns, Erma McDonald, Alvin Bunche, Willie Gillette and many more; all the many friends she touched in her lifetime; spe- cial thanks to Tricia Mlekodaz for many acts of kindness she provided to Marian; also Lees- burg Regional Medical Center; Kindred Hospital South Tampa; South Tampa Nursing and Rehab Center, Memorial Hospi- tal; Melech Hospice House of Temple Terrace.

MRS. EVELYN MADDOX BOURN
Mrs. Evelyn Maddox Bourn of Chicago, IL fell asleep in Christ on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 4:34 a. m. Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, October 15, at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend Ronald C. Hub- bard, officiating and Reverend Prentiss Davis, eulogist. Inter- ment will be held in Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
Mrs. Evelyn Maddox Bourn, the daughter of the late James and Bessie Maynard Maddox, was one of 13 children, born in Tampa, on April 1, 1921, being the last of her siblings. She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. She moved to Chicago, IL and in 1938, she met and married the love of her life, the late Roosevelt Bourn and remained united for over 60 years until his demise.
Evelyn was employed with High Low Foods Inc. for a number of years and retired from Metropoli- tan Insurance Company after many years of service. Evelyn re- ceived Christ at an early age and remained faithful to Christ and all that she came in contact with. She was a member of the Gospel Truth Missionary Baptist Church for many years serving on many com- mittees.
She recently relocated to Tampa with her niece after her health began to fail. She was known for visiting the sick and shut-ins and cooking for anyone that needed a meal, specializing in her macaroni and cheese.
Auntie Evelyn was preceded in death by: parents and all of her siblings.
She will forever remain in the hearts of: her loving caregivers, niece, Alliene Maddox Latson and husband, Michael; and all of her nieces and nephews in Tampa, that took care of her; devoted god- children, Sidney Davis, Chuck and Yvonne Kinnison, Marie Davis of Chicago, IL, Bruce Livingston of Bradenton, FL, and Gary Welch of Tampa; and so many others too numerous to mention; devoted nieces and nephews of Tampa, Chicago, IL, Minneapolis, MN, Utica, NY, Rochester, NY, Tacoma, WA, Elizabethtown, PA, Fredricksburg, VA, Houston, TX, Austin, TX, Baltimore, MD and Detroit, MI; numerous grand nieces, nephews and cousins; de- voted family and friends, of Chicago, Mr. And Mrs. Cuba Bell and family, Mrs. Dora Adams and family, Mrs. Jackie Flight and fam- ily, all of Chicago, Marie Edwards of San Antonio, TX, Michelle Jones and family, Mrs. Hoskins, Mrs. Wimbush and Mrs. Delores Cornelius of Chicago, IL; so many other friends and family too nu- merous to mention; all of her neighbors on Dorchester Ave. and the South Side of Chicago, and all Maddox and Bourn families.

MR. JESSIE LEE DALE, SR. (‘TANK’)
Mr. Jessie Lee Dale, Sr., “Tank”, of Tampa passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, October 15, at 2 p. m. at New Progress Missionary Baptist Church, 3307 E. Shad- owlawn Avenue, with Elder William Tolbert, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Jessie Lee Dale, Sr. was a native of Eufaula, Alabama and a resident of Tampa for 58 years. He was employed as a Construc- tion Worker at Cone Brothers Construction.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Edmond Dale, Sr. and Minnie Dale; 3 sons, Jessie Lee Dale, Jr., Leroy Dale and Dexter Dale; 5 brothers, Ed- mond Dale, Jr., Early Lee Dale, James Dale, Eddie Lee Dale and Charlie Lee Dale; and two sis- ters, Mittie Comer and Dora Ann Dale.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: two daughters, Debra Dale of West Palm Beach, FL and Pa- tricia Paisley of Tampa; sons, Eric Lee Powell (Eva) of Glen Allen, VA and Alexander Dale; daughter-in-law, Janet Dale; 33 grandchildren; 14 great grand- children; Mr. Dale also leaves three sisters, Rosie Tolbert, Ester Thompson (Willie) and Minnie Dale; one brother, Richard Dale (Fannie); sister-in- law, Marion Dale; caregiver and special niece, Regina Walton; and a host of other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Homegoing celebration for Mother Mary Lee Philon who passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11 a. m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Tampa, 33610, Pastor Ricardo Robinson with Pastor Rod- ney Williams, officiating, eu- logist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Leroy Philon; sons, James “Skeeter” Edward Devlin and Richard Farmer; mother, Ethel Douglas; fa- ther, Richard Farmer.
Mother Philon leaves to cherish memories of her with: daughter, Veronica L. Devlin Battles (Kevin); son, Tyrone Devlin (Nicole) of Tampa, Kendrick Devlin (Sakeena) of Pensacola, FL and Cedric R. Allen, of Tampa; 27 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 4 sis- ters, Mae Francis Stacy, Betty Irvin of Tampa, Irene Farmer (Eddie) and Dorothy Gant, both of St. Augustine, FL; 2 brothers, Larry Dou- glas (Patricia), and Leroy Douglas of Tampa; aunts, Catherine Thomas of Clear- water, Alberta Harris of Ft. Lauderdale; a host of nieces and nephews; devoted cousin, Carolyn Price-Hill; sisters-in-law, Agnes and Claudia; best friends, Lee Ann Dell, Kathy Rush and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mother Mary Lee Philon was born in Burnell, Florida she was a resident of Tampa for over 40 years. She was united in holy matrimony to Leroy Philon. Mary was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She was deeply loved by loyal friends and family and to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Mother Mary was edu- cated at Richard Murray High School in St. Augustine, Florida. She was a devoted employee for 27 years in the Hotel Hospitality and Envi- ronmental Services. She was a member of People of Hope Outreach Ministry where she served on the Mother’s Board.
There will be a viewing on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, 33605 from 5 – 8 p. m. Friends are asked to assemble at the church at approximately 10:45 a. m. on Saturday for the service.
