Nicki Minaj Won't Press Charges Against Cardi B After Their Explosive Fight
Drake And Meek Mill Officially Squash Their Beef At Boston Concert
       NICKI MINAJ
Nicki Minaj reportedly won’t press charges against Cardi B.
As Minaj, 35, and her bodyguards were not injured when the 25-year-old “I Like It” rapper attacked her on Fri- day during a star-studded New York Fashion Week party, she doesn’t feel a need to file a po- lice report, sources close to Minaj told reporters. Cardi B left the event with a swollen forehead caused by the elbow of Nicki's bodyguard.
An insider shared that the rapper felt unbothered by the altercation and doesn’t want the drama to escalate, accord- ing to the outlet.
An NYPD Public Informa- tion Officer confirmed to re- porters on Saturday that “at this point in time we don’t have a complaint on either side.” Police previously con- firmed to reporters that no ar- rests had been made following the altercation.
Seemingly showing the world how unbothered she was by the events that had tran- spired earlier in the night, the rapper smiled while blowing
CARDI B
kisses to the crowd outside the Plaza Hotel, where the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party was held.
A source previously told re- porters that it initially looked like the pair “might hug it out” before “it all went down.”
“Cardi walked towards Nicki and all of a sudden Cardi started screaming something about her child. She was yelling, ‘Bi*^h you feisty. Bi*^h don’t talk s— about my child’ at Nicki,” the source continued.
The source went on to ex- plain to reporters that Cardi “threw her shoe because she couldn’t get through” to Minaj, who “was there with eight or nine bodyguards.”
As for the welt on Cardi’s head that she was seen exiting with, while the source isn’t sure what happened, they’re confident that Minaj was not responsible for the injury.
“Nothing seemed to start the fight other than Cardi see- ing Nicki up close,” the eye- witness added. “It definitely seems to stem from deeply rooted issues.”
BOSTON, MA – Drake and his former nemesis Meek Mill have apparently made amends following a long-run- ning feud.
The Toronto superstar brought out the Philly rapper during a show at the TD Gar- den in Boston on Saturday night (September 8). Drake, of course, was performing with Migos as part of the Aubrey and The Three Amigos Tour.
Shortly after Meek steps on stage, he and Drake exchange a quick handshake as Meek goes on to perform his 2012
DRAKE AND MEEK MILL
track “Dreams & Nightmares.” Drake marked the occa- sion on social media with an
Instagram post.
“This really gave me peace
of mind tonight,” he wrote in the caption. “Healing and mov- ing forward created one of the most electric and gratifying moments of my career.
“@meekmill I’m happy that you are home and that we could find our way back to our joint purpose. (Cue the Kevin Garnett “anything is possible” adlib).”
Hip Hop Pioneer Jimmy Spicer Diagnosed With Advanced Brain And Lung Cancer
BROOKLYN, NY – Hip Hop careers have the allure of world travel, adulation and (hopefully) money but one thing they don’t have is a health plan. As our Hip Hop pioneers age, more often they are finding themselves in pre- carious situations.
Jimmy Spicer, one of the first MCs to release a rap song on wax, has been diagnosed with advanced brain and lung cancer. Fellow pioneering Hip Hop artist Kurtis Blow shared the news on Twitter roughly two weeks ago. “Jimmy Spicer – One of the pioneers of [Hip] Hop needs our help,” he wrote. Attached was the link to Spicer’s Go-
JIMMY SPICER
FundMe page.
According to the Go-
FundMe page, Spicer is cur- rently undergoing radiation treatment for his brain tumor but needs chemotherapy for
the tumor in his lung. So far, he’s raised less than $1,500 out of his $100,000 goal.
Spicer dropped “Adven- tures Of Super Rhymes” in 1980 and laid out the blueprint for MCs like Slick Rick and Dana Dane. With his story- telling raps, he captivated lis- teners with his wild tales of life in Brooklyn.
Spicer’s music has been sampled by numerous Hip Hop artists. Wu-Tang Clan famously sampled Spicer’s “Money (Dollar Bill Y’all) for the classic cut “C.R.E.A.M.” and Montell Jordan used snippets of the same track for his 1995 hit “This Is How We Do It.”
Scarface Denies He's Battling Lung Cancer
Mac Miller Dies; Home Found Wiped Clean Of Drug Paraphernalia
HOUSTON, TX – Scar- face is the internet’s latest vic- tim of a vicious rumor. After news started to circu- late the Geto Boys OG was di- agnosed with lung cancer, Scarface jumped on Twitter to set the record straight.
“The internet will kill you quicker than a gun will,” he wrote. “I sympathize with peo- ple who are really sick with cancer God be with you.
“And as happy as the news of me being down will make some, it will also make them even sadder to know its all un- true I’m alive and well yea I know.”
SCARFACE
A report claimed Scarface
was receiving treatment at Houston’s Memorial Her- mann-Texas Medical Center but it turns out that is far from the case.
LOS ANGELES, CA – Less than 24 hours after Mac Miller’s unexpected death, in- vestigators are trying to piece together what exactly when down in the days leading up to his passing.
According to TMZ, Miller’s San Fernando Valley home was found nearly spotless and free of drug paraphernalia. Law enforcement officials re- portedly said the only evidence of any drug use was a tiny amount of white powder found at the scene.
Police are wondering why a person who consumed a fatal dose would then clean the house of pill bottles, illegal drugs and drug parapherna- lia right before they die.
Adding to the confusion is
MAC MILLER
the fact Miller wasn’t alone on
Thursday (September 6) and Friday (September 7), the day he died. However, police say no one saw him alive after Thursday.
Miller’s death has greatly impacted the music industry. Countless people have ex-
pressed their grief and offered their condolences on social media.
Rolling Stone obtained a statement from the family re- questing privacy.
“Malcolm McCormick,
known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26,” his family said in a statement. “He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans.
“Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our pri- vacy. There are no further de- tails as to the cause of his death at this time.”
The official cause of death will be determined by the L.A. County Coroner following tox- icology tests.
