CDC Of Tampa And Volunteers Beautify East Tampa Homes
The Beautification Day is part of NeighborWorks Week, June 2-9, 2018

The beautification day is part of a week-long, national celebration of neighborhood improvement activities rec- ognized as NeighborWorks Week 2018.
During NeighborWorks Week (June2-9) CDC of Tampa and other Neighbor- Works network members across the country will mobi- lize tens of thousands of res- idents, business people and government officials for a week of neighborhood
change and awareness. More than 150 events are planned in communities nationwide, including CDC of Tampa’s Jackson Heights event.
This year’s Neighbor- Works Week theme is “Ad- vancing Opportunity,” and NeighborWorks organiza- tions like CDC of Tampa ad- vance opportunity by empowering local residents and communities with the tools, skills and services needed to help everyone thrive.
“For the past two years, we’ve been hard at work de- veloping new single-family homes in Jackson Heights,” said Ernest Coney, CDC of Tampa’s President and CEO. “So far, we’ve completed 7 — with 6 more on the way. But our goal has always been for these new homes to help lift up the entire area. So we’re excited to bring some fresh paint and TLC to Mrs. McIntyre’s home this weekend, to show in a very tangible way how new home

Health Day
The Single Voice Ministry at New Life Tabernacle Church will be hosting “Health Day” on Saturday, June 9, 2018, beginning at 9 a. m., 6912 Williams Rd., Seffner.
This event is geared towards the single parents both moms and dads.
The speaker will be First Lady Cyvonne Davy. Candace Ed- wards and Angela are the coordinators.
There is a small fee and childcare is available.
Job Fair June 12th
The Dress For Success Moving Forward Program is hosting a job fair on Tuesday, June 12th, 10 a. m.-12 noon. The event will be held at the Robert W. Saunders Library, 1505 N. Nebraska Ave., in the first floor Conference Room A.
