  AIKENS
MRS. MARY FRANCES UNDERWOOD
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Mary Frances Under- wood of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, Oc- tober 25, 2018, will be held Saturday, November 3rd, 11 a. m. at St. John Progressive M. B. Church, 2504 E. Chipco St., Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., pastor, officiating. The in- terment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Mary Frances Under- wood was born in Tampa, Florida on January 8, 1950 to the late James Hosey and Min- nie Lee Hosey. She was raised by her parents, Fess and Ruby Chatman, who preceded her in death. Mary attended the pub- lic schools of Hillsborough County. She went on to study at Hillsborough Community College and the University of South Florida. She worked as an underwriter in the insur- ance industry until her retire- ment in April 2018.
She joined St. John Pro- gressive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. F. G. Hilton. She was a faithful member of St. John Progressive M. B. Church and served as an usher on Usher Board #1. She also worked tirelessly with the youth and younger children of the church.
Mary departed this life on October 25, 2018. In addition to her parents, she was pre- ceded in death by: her two sis- ters, Mamie B. Gallmon and Lillie Mae Jones and her brother, and James Lester Hosey.
Fond and loving memories will remain with: her devoted daughter, Nakisha Adegbayibi (Jamal); stepchildren, Ken- neth Underwood (Shanice), Reynold Underwood (Latrice), Shenaye Lyles, Robert Lyles, Jr.; her special friend, Robert Lyles; sisters, Cora Yopp, Wille Mae Johnson (Calvin), Betty Burnett, Deborah Clark; brothers, Wiley B. Jones, Michael Hosey, Ed Foley (Gail); goddaughter, Yvonne Russ; devoted friend, Denise Holmes; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other sorrowing rela- tives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 2nd from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will re- ceive friends from 5 to 6 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

GENEVIEVE VONLOCKETTE
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Alyce Genevieve Von- Lockette of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, will be held Friday, November 2nd, 1 p. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill 3838 N. 29th St., Rev. S. Evans Burrows, pastor, officiat- ing. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Alyce Genevieve Cole was born on December 4, 1921 in Tampa, Florida, to Sylvester and Gladys Cole. She was the second oldest of six children. She died peacefully, sur- rounded by her loving family. Alyce, or Jenny, as she was known to family and friends was a lifelong resident of Tampa. She graduated from Middleton High School and re- ceived a Bachelor’s and Mas- ter’s degree in Education from Florida A&M University.
Jenny was an elementary school teacher in the Hillsbor- ough County School System for over 30 years. She also taught adult evening high school for much of her teaching career. She devoted her life to her fam- ily and to the enrichment of others.
After retirement she and her husband, Paris, enjoyed traveling the country and abroad. Jenny was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grand- mother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Her compassion and love were a blessing to her family, friends and community. She touched the lives of all she knew through her genuine caring personality.
She was always full of encour- agement and gratitude.
Jenny was active in her church: her prayer group, the security ministry, Bible studies and the senior choir.
She was preceded in death by: her beloved parents, Sylvester and Gladys Cole; hus- band, Paris VonLockette; son, Edwin C. Hill and brother, John C. Cole.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Mack Hill and wife, Dale of Tampa; grandchil- dren, Toni Harris and husband, Michael of Pompano Beach, Florida, Michele Hill and part- ner, Andi Greenwald of Miami Beach, Florida, Jeffrey Hill and wife, Monique of Seattle, Wash- ington; great-grandchildren, Michael Harris, Taylor Harris, Lena Harris and Markus Har- ris, all of Pompano Beach, Florida; great-great grandchil- dren, Jaden Harris, Alana Har- ris and Aubrey Harris, all of Pompano Beach, Florida; brothers, Robert L. Cole of Tampa and Willis “Billy” Cole of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Thelma Cole of Tampa and Gladys Lang and husband, Bobby of Tallahassee, Florida; goddaughter, Kimberly Blount and husband, Robert; beloved cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many devoted friends.
The visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of College Hill on Thursday November 1st from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends during the visi- tation.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.

MR. JOSEPH E. RIVERS, SR.
A Celebration of Life for Joseph E. Rivers, Sr. of Tampa, FL, who passed away on October 27, 2018, will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 11 a. m. at Light of the World Deliverance Church, 4701 North 15th Street, Rev. Lorenzo C. Warren, offici- ating.
Joseph E. Rivers, Sr. was born on June 27, 1962 in Tampa, and attended the schools of Hillsborough County. He was a mechanic and was a well-known advocate in the race car circle. He also loved music, playing dominoes, fishing and movies.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: parents, Elnora Rivers (Melvin); children: La- toya (Brandon), Shavayla, Josetta, Isaiah, Craig, Terreal and Joseph, Jr.; siblings: San- dra (Chuck), Rodrick and Dono- van (Trina); grand-children: Layla, Jeylani`, Crayla, Cra- tiana, Steve, Jr., Jasien, Josiah, Craig, Jr. and Christopher; nieces and nephews: Donisha, Teeara, Keeta, Zikhia, Delaini, Donovan, Jr., Dontavious and Rodrick, Jr.; uncles and aunt: Robert Rivers, Sr. and Charles Thomas (Catherine); special friend, Betty Jones; and a host of cousins and many beloved friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 5p-8p. m., at Gudes Funeral Home, 4050 E. Hillsborough Ave. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday at 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MR. DARIN W. SEAGO
The late Mr. Darin W. Seago was born August 2, 1970 to Jerry W. Seago (deceased) and Betty J. Seago.
On October 10, 2018, around 5:00 he departed this life at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2 p. m., at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Rev. Otis Cooper, Pastor of New Ris- ing Star Ministries, officiating. The committal will be made at the Chapel.
At an early age, he was inter- ested in football. He was an en- trepreneur.
He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Arthur John- son and his cousin Joey.
He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Betty Seago; sister, Nichole Seago; 3 broth- ers, Kenneth Seago, Terry Seago, and Kevin Seago; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Darin Seago will be held this Friday evening from 5 p. m. until 8 p. m.
Family and friends are in- vited to assemble for the Home- going at 1:45 p. m., Saturday at Harmon Funeral Home.
