MRS. BETTY JANE BRADLEY
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Betty Bradley of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 will be held Sat- urday, January 13th, 4 p. m. at Palm River Kingdom Hall, 4802 17th Ave. S., Bro. Kenneth Lee, of- ficiating.
Betty was born March 2, 1917 in Ty Ty, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mitchell and Marth Gaskins; daughter, Dorothy Patrick; grandson, An- thony Patrick; sisters, Essie Mae Johnson, Iva Love, Louise Cadore and Martha Gaskins Gosa; brothers, Walter Gaskins, Henry C. Gaskins, Mitchell Gask- ins, Lovett Gaskins and Charlie J. Gaskins.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her daugh- ter, Ann Wilson; grandchildren, Willie R. MRS. MARY ELIZABETH HAMILTON
A Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hamilton of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 will be held Saturday, January 13th, 1:30 p. m. at The Walk Church, 8619 N. 40th Street Apostle Cornelius Hamilton, officiating.
Mary was born January 6, 1953. She enjoyed shopping, getting her nails done, watching Bones and most of all spending time with her grandkids. And let’s not forget she loved to eat.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Louis Rucker and Ellen Hamilton; sister, Chiquita Kerr; and nephew, Khando Kerr.

MR. WILLIE JAMES MINOR
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Willie James Minor of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018, will be held on Saturday, Jan- uary 13, 2018, 11 a. m. at Peace Pro- gressive M. B. Church, 2607 E. 24th Avenue, Pastor Sylvester Robinson, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Willie James Minor was born to the union of the late James and Thelma Minor in Greenville, Florida. The family relocated to Tampa when he was still a small child. Willie re- ceived his education in Hillsborough County Schools and later earned his Associate’s Degree in Criminal Jus- tice.
Willie voluntarily enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1950 where he served an honorable and distinguished twenty-one years, high- lighted by two tours in Vietnam. Gun- nery Sergeant Minor retired as a decorated soldier. After retiring from the military, he went back to work as a civil servant, security police at the Veteran Administration Hospital for twenty-two years.
Willie accepted Christ at an early age and was a long time member of Peace Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. He was an active member of the usher board and various other committees. Willie was united in holy matrimony to Eva Mae Williams (Sweetie) on June 19, 1959 in Tampa,
FL. Willie was preceded in death by: his parents, James and Thelma Minor; siblings, Annie Mae, George, Malachi, Iva, Rosa Lee Minor Monroe and Joe Minor; and brother-in-law, Matthew Harris, Sr.
He leaves to cherish fond and lov- ing memories with: his wife, Eva Mae Minor; three sisters, Dorothy Minor Goins (Charles), Thelma Minor Billings (Eddie), Fort Worth, TX, and Catherine Minor Harvey (Lee), Riverview, FL; 1 brother-in-law, George Monroe, Williston, FL, 2 sis- ters-in-law, Lillie Tombs Minor, Loretta Gilbert; 1 uncle, Willie D. Rayford of Williston, FL, 1 aunt, Catherine Brown, Williston, FL; a very special close cousin, Lizzie Mae Varnedoe, Midway, GA; 41 nieces and nephews; 105 great nieces and nephews; 48 great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of sorrowing de- voted cousins; other relatives and friends, including Tom and Susanne Goldtraps; special and devoted neigh- bor of many years, Lawrence and Sharon Jackson, Rueben and Juanita Yeoman, Wayne Allen and wife, Johnny and Essie Reese.

MR. WILLIE ANDERSON OUTLAND
A Homegoing Service for Mr. Willie A. Outland of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017, will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, 2 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Reginal T. Webb, Pastor of New Bethel Progressive Missionary Bap- tist Church, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Willie was born February 21, 1955 in Newbern, AL to Walter A. Outland, Sr. and the late Mary L. Out- land. He graduated from Fenger High School, Chicago, IL. He at- tended Illinois State University on a baseball scholarship and graduated from Greenville College, Chicago, Illi- nois.
He was a professional baseball player for the Cincinnati Reds until he was injured. Willie was employed with the Chicago City Parks District and Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department for many years. He had a great love for the game of golf and was a local golf in- structor for the First Tee program, YMCA. He loved children and en- joyed teaching them the game of golf. He was a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, initiated Epsilon Chi Chapter, 1975 at Illinois State University.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Mary Outland; uncles, Richard and Johnnie Outland and aunts, Mary Davis and Claudia Out- land.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: a loving wife, LaSandra D. Outland; father, Walter A. Outland, Sr.; children, Ashley Outland, Chad A. Outland (Cherelle), Siara D. Out- land, Roosevelt E. Bryant, Jr. (Jas- min), Donte J. Bryant (Canesia), Laterrius D. Bryant, Richard Blocker, Fatimah Bromell and Michael Hood; grandchildren, Alvia J. Bryant, Chase E. Outland, Symphony K., Michah M., Keyonni and Caleb Bryant, Jaquan Addison, Jordan and Omari Hood, Zyshawn and Leilani Russell and Mayala Bryant; god-daughter, Ashley Hayes; brothers, Walter A. MS. JULISSA JACKSON
Ms. Julissa Jackson, 15, a native of Tampa, FL, departed this life Jan- uary 1st, 2018. She attended schools in Hillsborough County and was pre- ceded in death by her son, grand- mother and other family members.
She is survived by her son, Jayceon; mother, Johneshia Jack- son; grandparents, Elease Moore and Johnny Jackson, 3 brothers, Trayvon Jackson, Franco Lovett, Jr. and Jaiiven Lovett; 5 sisters, Dan- gela Howard, Ja’leah Hunter, Markeasha Jackson, Fylcia Lovett and Daija Miller; many aunts, and uncle, a host of cousins, extended family members and longtime sor- rowing friends.
The remains for Julissa will re- pose from 5-8 p. m. at Jackson’s Fu- neral Home, 4605 N. 34th St., Tampa 33610. The Celebration of her Life Service will be Saturday, 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th St., Tampa, FL, with Senior Pastor Antonio Hawkins, Pastor, Faith Alive, providing the Words of Comfort. Her earthly Rest- ing Place will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Cemetery.
