DJ Star and The Game
According to Page Six, police plan to arrest The Game over threatening comments he made on the radio about rival DJ Star. Apparently, DJ Star (Troi Torain) reported his rival’s threats to police, and Game faces arrest if he returns to New York. Game told the 105.1 FM morning show “The Breakfast Club” on Sept. 21 that he wanted to assault Star over a feud with one of Game’s friends, D.J. Envy. Torain seems to feel like Game is salty that he didn’t let him on his show. The Game is always in some drama!
Jay-Z has a reason to smile.
Music and hip-hop mogul Jay Z announced that his streaming service “TIDAL” has successfully reached one mil- lion subscribers.
He tweeted on his Twitter account to announce the suc- cess of the TIDAL launch: "Nothing real can be threat- ened, nothing unreal exists. Tidal is platinum.1,000,000 people and counting. Let's cel- ebrate 10/20 Brooklyn," he wrote.
Many of your favorite artists can be found on TIDAL such as Rihanna, Madonna, and or even Queen B herself. The reason TIDAL is different
from other streaming playlist like Pandora and Spotify is because with TIDAL, you can get exclusive experiences and music video access before any- one else.
Jay Z was challenged with criticism when the site first launched in May. Some critics didn’t like the idea of the site and compared Spotify’s mil- lions of subscribers to TIDAL.
Mr. Carter fired back to critics sending out a tweet say- ing:
“Tidal is doing just fine. We have over 770,000 subs. We have been in business less than one month. #TidalFacts”.
Michael Jackson‘s chil- dren have formed a strong bond with their cousins since his sudden death. Now, his two boys are appearing in a new reality show that will pull back the curtain on the enter- tainment family. Tito Jack- son's three sons TJ, 37, Taj, 42, and Taryll, 40, are open- ing up their family to reality show cameras for Lifetime's docuseries The Jacksons: Next Generation.
Prince and Blanket Jack- son go on a camping trip with their male cousins in an exclu- sive sneak peek of The Jack- sons: Next Generation, and they are shown learning about their illustrious dynasty from their relatives.
“You all should know how hard our uncles and aunts worked and how much they sacrificed to provide for us. To make it so we can all have this name and do the things we’re doing, I want you guys to re- spect that,” the King of Pop’s nephew says. As the younger boys listen, the older boys ex- plain what it means to be a Jackson.
“There are a lot of people that look at us and look what we do...You can change peo-
ple’s lives...Our dads our un- cles, our aunts have proven that,” one relative explains.
The older boys warn the younger ones that they have a responsibility to conduct themselves appropriately in public because of their famous last name. “We have to protect our name and we gotta keep our family tight,” one cousin says. “You guys are the next generation and you have to set that example and keep it going,” another warns.
“You young ones – respect and value and spend time with your grandmother,” he says about Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson.
“I can’t stress that enough. Because she is such an amaz- ing person. This family is built on grandma. We cannot forget that.”
The moment around the campfire then lightens up con- siderably. “Who has our fam- ily not influenced? Every move ever, Twerk, pop, slide rolls.” Prince interrupts his cousin and says: “I don’t know if we could take credit for the Twerk.”
The Jacksons: Next Gener- ation, airs October 2 at 10pm on Lifetime.
