DeMar DeRozan Fined For Throwing Basketball
At Referee
DEMAR DEROZAN
DeMar DeRozan had to know he’d face some discipline for his actions during Saturday night’s Game 4 after throwing a basketball at a referee, and the league has come down quickly.
DeRozan was fined $25,000 for his actions, but will face no further conse- quences for his ill-advised bas- ketball toss at referee Scott Foster in his team’s Game 4 loss.
Michael Jordan Says Tiger Victory Is 'Greatest Comeback I've Ever Seen'
TIGER WOODS AND MICHAEL JORDAN
Michael Jordan has long been synonymous with great- ness, so any "greatest ever" ac- colade bestowed by him shouldn't be taken lightly.
Take note, Tiger Woods.
"I never thought he'd get back physically," Jordan said after Woods' victory at the Masters on Sunday. "He didn't think he'd get back physically. But he did it. No one expected him to be back the way he is now. He's probably the only person who believed he could get back. To me, that's a major accomplishment. To me, it's unbelievable.
"Mentally, you always think you can. But you can't answer to what your body has to deal with. ... To me, it was the great- est comeback I've ever seen."
Over the past decade, Woods has faced multiple knee surgeries, a torn Achilles and back fusion surgery two years ago that left him doubt- ing whether he would ever play competitive golf again.
But with last Sunday's vic- tory -- his fifth at Augusta -- Woods has 15 major champi- onships, second only to Jack Nicklaus' 18.

  Is Shooting The Thunder
Out Of The Playoffs
If you’re wondering why the Oklahoma City Thunder are down 3-1 in their first- round playoff series with the Portland Trail Blazers, look no further than the play of Russell Westbrook.
Two years removed from an MVP season, West- brook had an atrocious sea- son as a shooter this year. He made just 42.8 percent of his field goals in the regular season, shot 29 percent on threes — his worst mark since 2010 — and he even struggled at the free throw line. His 65.6 percent at the line was the worst mark of his career by far.
The poor shooting has continued into the playoffs
RUSSELL WESTBROOK
and is the biggest reason the Thunder are losing to Port- land.
For the series, West- brook is shooting 36.5/28.0/84.4 on his per- centages. Those first two numbers — 36.5 percent shooting and 28 percent on threes — are killers.
