Black Wall Street Experience Draws Enthusiastic Audience
FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 2019
The Black Wall Street Experience and Business Expo was held June 14 and 15, 2019 at 5508 N. 50th St. The THAPgroup hosted this Juneteenth “red carpet” Celebration. The event drew an audience of over 200 enthusiastic guests.
The Experience included a lavish dinner and the stage play, “Black Wall Street” on Friday. On Saturday, there were business expos and panel discussions, a matinee presentation of the play for youth and students, and the evening production.
Several companies joined THAPgroup to sponsor the expo.

Howard Harris and business owner, Marvin Knight were among the guests.
Among those who attended the Friday ‘red carpet’ event were: Doris Scott, who ac- cepted an award for her late husband, Robert Scott, Sr.; author and businesswoman, Veronica Blakely; businesswoman, Sherryl Cusseaux (DSI Black Pages); businesswoman and author, Lucinda Askew; and Tampa’s newest City Councilman, Orlando Gudes.
