Director Luc Besson (Taken) did a great job mak- ing this action/spy with great supporting cast (Helen Mir- ren, Luke Evans) to develop a must see thriller. Shaft (2019) - John Shaft Jr. (Jessie T. Usher), a cyber security expert with a degree from MIT, enlists his Dad (Samuel Jackson, Regina Hall) to help uncover the truth behind his best friend's untimely death. Re- ally confused how this movie received bad reviews, but Di- rector Tim Story (Think Like A Man) did a great job mak- ing this film funny and action packed. Really enjoyed it. Must see ! Late Night - A just hired screenwriter (Mindy Kaling) goes through the struggle to help a late-night talk-show host( Emma Thompson) save her job and long-running show. Mindy Kaling did a great job writing this film taking you behind the scenes on how hard it is making a late night show stay on top. Really enjoyed this movie. Made $12M (budget- N/A)- ****
Godzilla: King of the Monsters - The crypto-zoo-
logical agency Monarch(Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Mil- lie Bobby Brown) faces off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three- headed King Ghidorah. Di- rector Michael Dougherty did a great job making the story- line about the people instead of Godzilla. This Godzilla film was the better than the others. Ma - A lonely woman (Octavia Spencer) befriends a group of teenagers (Diana Silver) and decides to let them party at her house. Alladin - Will Smith Is Back! Director Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes) put to- gether a fantastic Disney Classic about a kind-hearted street urchin( Mena Mas- soud) and a power-hungry Grand Vizier ( Marwan Ken- zari) vie for a magic lamp with a genie inside (Smith) that has the power to make their deepest wishes come true which is the love for the beautiful princess (Naomi Scott)- Must -see for adults and kids. young married couple, Annie and Scott (Meghan Good, Michael Ealy) buy a big, beautiful house on several acres of land only to find out that the man , Charlie Peck (Dennis Quaid) they bought it from refuses to let go of the property. Director Deon Tay- lor put together a (talk to the screen) thriller that was sur- prisingly very good. Joseph Sikora, Mike (plays Tommie- Power) also starred. Must- see for suspense, thriller fans. Avengers: Endgame
(2019) - After the devastating ending of Avengers: Infinity War when Thanos (Josh Broslin) dissolved most of the Avengers and mankind, the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, theAvengers (Robert Downey Jr.- Ironman, Chris Evans- Captain America, Chris Hemsworth-Thor, Scarlett Johansson-Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo- Hulk, Jeremy Renner- Clint Barton, Don Cheadle- War Machine and Paul Rudd- Ant-Man) as- semble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and re- store order to the universe. This Avengers film will give the audience the ending they were promised . Directors Anthony Russo and brother Joe, did a great job putting together this 3 hour/ 2 minute masterpiece that had a ending fans will enjoy. Must see if you can get a ticket. Captain Marvel - Carol Danvers ( Brie Larson) be- comes Captain Marvel when she is caught in a galactic war and the aliens' blast hits her. She join forces with The Avengers Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) to stop the aliens from ruling the world. The movie started good, but later fizzled because the villians were average fighters.
