Tampa Alumni Chapter Of Kappa Alpha Psi Installed New Officers
Former City Councilwoman Host WWE Wrestler At Center With Her Name
Former City Council- woman Gwen Miller hosted WWE wrestler, Titus O’Neil at the Gwen Miller Center in East Tampa last week.
In addition to the young people who attend the center on a daily basis, students in the summer programs at Fos- ter Elementary and Sligh Middle School were also in attendance.
O’Neil, whose official name is Thaddeus Michael Bullard, Sr., talked with the youngsters about the impor- tance of education and how important it is to stay in school. He also told them he’d be visiting their schools throughout the school year.

The Tampa Alumni Chap- ter of Kappa Alpha Psi Frater- nity, Inc. installed new officers and board of directors for the 2019-2020 fraternal year.
The men that will run the chapter are: Roland Daniels (Polemarch), Collis Ivery, III (Vice-Polemarch), Collis Ivery, IV (Keeper of Records), Marcus Sloan (Keeper of Exchequer), Fred Robinson (Assistant Keeper of Exchequer), Tim Holle- man (Strategus), Michael Cummings (Lieutenant Strategus), Albert Coleman (Membership Training Acad- emy Chairman), Jearl Lett (Historian) and Rick Brown (Reporter).
The chapter’s Board of Directors are: Bianco Berry, Clinton Paris, Jeff
Randall, Tim Holleman
and Immediate Past Pole- march, Robert Irvin.
The Tampa Alumni has played a vital role in the Tampa Bay community since 1928. Last year, Tampa Alumni celebrated its 90th year of being chartered. The chapter donated 200 pack ’n play sets to needy families in the past year.
Tampa Alumni, coming off a 2018 Southern Province Chapter and Reclamation Chapter of the Year, was the host chapter in January for the 14th National Founders’ Day Celebration, and in April hosted the 69th Southern Province Council Meeting.
In 2023, Tampa Alumni will host Kappa Alpha Psi’s 86th Grand Chapter Meeting in Tampa.
