MRS. SARAH PYRON JOHNSON
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Sarah Pyron Johnson, who passed away on June 18, 2019, will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11 a. m. at Bible- Based Fellowship Church-Car- rollwood, 4811 Ehrlich Road, Tampa, Florida, Rev. Anthony C. White, Pastor, with Pastor Jane
McDonnough of Faith Life Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Sarah Pyron Johnson, the oldest child of five children, was born on May 21, 1931 to the parentage of Carl and Mamie Curtis-Pyron in Sun City, Florida. She had two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Johnson attended the public schools of Hillsborough County.
Mrs. Johnson was united in holy matrimony to Edward L. Johnson, Sr. in 1948. From this union, they were blessed with nine children. Mr. Edward L. Johnson passed in 1981.
Mrs. Sarah Pyron Johnson first and foremost loved the Lord and her family deeply. She was a Homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was always willing to help oth- ers, whether it was babysitting for mothers in the neighbor- hood, fellow church members or family. She was a blessing to many people.
She served on the Mother’s Board at Palm River COGIC alongside her husband, Minister Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a dedicated and faithful servant.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by: her husband, Ed- ward L. Johnson, Sr.; father, Carl Pyron; mother, Mamie Cur- tis-Pyron; brothers, Jasper Pyron and Collie Pyron; sisters, Laura Pyron, Ulara Pyron; and close cousin, Sally “Cliff” Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her im- peccable precious memories with: her children, Edward Johnson, Jr. (Jennifer), James Johnson, Sr., Joyce Stephens (John), Mamie Jefferson, Her- bert G. Johnson, Sharlene Pyatt (Eddie), Darlene Oliver (Eric, Sr.), Lester Johnson and Elonda Johnson; grandchildren, James Johnson, Jr., (Tameka), John Stephens, Jr., Michael Johnson, Adrian Johnson (Jamie), Dwayne Stephens, Sr., Kedrick Faison (Sandy), Toccara John- son, Jamel Chapman, Kelvin Faison, Lakeisha Faison–Story (Ronald), Andrew Thompson, Cleo Pyatt, Tenisha McGivery, Tiffany McGivery, Jasmine Mc- Givery, Alexis Farris, Ebony Pyatt, Cierra Bedard, Eric Oliver, Jr., Stephanie Bedard and Aishya Oliver; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and

There will be a viewing on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 28th Street Tampa, Florida from 5–8 p. m., with the family present to receive friends in the chapel from 5–6 p. m.

MR. THOMAS C. HILL, SR.
Mr. Thomas C. Hill, Sr. of Tampa, passed away on Wednes- day, June 19, 2019. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11 a. m. at Faith Outreach Center Church, 7607 Sheldon Road, with Rev- erend Simuel Howard, III, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Thomas C. Hill, Sr. was a native of Eufaula, Alabama and a resident of Tampa for over 60 years. He was a graduate of Howard W. Blake’s Adult High School and a past member of Peace Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. He retired as a Skycap from Pan American Air- lines. He was the owner of T&J Novelties in West Tampa for decades until he became ill.
Mr. Thomas C. Hill, also known as, “Big T” or “Tommy,” was well known and loved by so many people in the West Tampa and Carver City area. He was, “A man who loved his family and took pride in making a positive difference in the lives of all those around him.”
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his loving and devoted wife, Fay Hill; children, Jerald Hill (Jerri), Vivian Boderick (Daniel), Thomas Hill, Jr., Leroy Weston, Mike (Nicky), Larry (Sullynet) and Eugene Hampton, John, Javon and Jimmie Hill; three sis- ters, Ruby, Darlene (Terry) and Merry; two brothers, James Lester and Jessie (Alicia); two sis- ters-in-law, Christine and Kay (Alex); 2 brothers-in-law, Robert Allen and Sandy; 10 grand girls, Bershawn, Simethea, Courtney, Britney, Shelby, Christina, Shar- naye, Ariel Weston, Morgan Hampton and Trinika; 5 grand- sons, Simuel Howard and Michael, Miyon, Christen and Yael Hampton; 10 great-grands, Jermaine Tommy Ray Howard, Whitney, Darius, Dasani, Miy- onna, Paula, Israel, Jada, Jaden and Chase; one aunt, Willie Meryl Wright; 8 cousins, Peggy Jo, Yvonne, John (Elizabeth), Floyd (Patsy), Joseph Churchill, E. J. (Arlinda), Winston (Frances, John, Jr., Patricia (William); 2 godchildren, Sheritta Flowers and Robert Earl Reese, Jr.; and a host of devoted cousins, nephews, nieces, family members and dear friends, Mr. Ernest, Mr. Ray and as he is affectionately known, M. Lil Hat.
He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Virginia R. Hill; son, Kenneth Eugene Hill; parents, Ethel and Jessie Hill, Sr., as well as six of his siblings, James Earl, Georgia Mae, Betty Jewel, Charles and Patrice; and brother-in-law, Russell Albury.

MRS. LUCILE WILLIS BILLINGSLEA SCOTT
Mrs. Lucile Willis Billingslea Scott of Tampa, FL, transitioned to her heavenly home on Thurs- day, June 20, 2019. Obsequies will be conducted Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 11 a. m. at Greater Bethel M. B. Church, Inc., 1207 N. Jefferson Street, Tampa, FL 33602. Reverend, Doctor Brett Snowden, Pastor, officiating, with Reverend Doc- tor Shafter E. Scott, Eulogist. In- terment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mother Scott had a love for God that transcended all else. She lived the life of a Christian for 98 years. She assured that all of her 10 children, 25 grand- children, 36 great-grands, and 6 great-great-grands heard the Good News of Jesus Christ from her, and made sure they knew they needed to live the life of Christ.
She was a member of Greater Bethel M. B. Church for over 84 years as an obedient, and com- mitted member. She was dedi- cated to the Sunday School, Prayer Meetings, Deaconess Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Senior Citizens Ministry, vari- ous Choirs, and when she was still able, she played the piano for the Sunday School. Mother loved being a supporter of the Youth Department through the years.
Mother was very concerned about her community and civic duties always casting her vote even as a ninety-eight year old. She was the oldest graduate of the Greater Bethel Senior Citi- zens Computer Class, learning how to send and receive emails, create simple greeting cards, etc.
Mother Scott attended Harlem Academy, the Mother of all Schools in Hillsborough County. She also attended Dobyville Elementary during segregation. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1938. She went on to complete courses for cashiering and finance at Brew- ster Vocational School. She was gifted in Mathematics.
Mother Scott was sought out by some of Tampa’s prominent families to manage their house- holds, including helping to par- ent their children. Mother will be remembered for her candor, courage, love, honesty, kind- ness, and godliness.
Left to cherish wonderful memories and to continue her godly legacy: 4 sons and two daughters; Arthur B. (Joanne) Scott, Reverend Doctor Shafter E. (Evalina) Scott, Carol Scott, Jacob W. Scott (Beverly), Har- riet Lucile Scott, and Andrew G. Scott.
Two daughters and 2 sons preceded her in their eternal transition: Mrs. Roberta Marie Scott Wilder, Ms. Annie Theresa Scott, Deacon Harold Billingslea Scott, Jr. and William Eugene

Since November 9th, 2002, I was blessed to have spent my life with you. You weren’t just the love of my life, but also my best and most trusted friend. We filled our days with so much happiness. The things that meant the most in our lives were the things we were blessed to share... Our Home, Our Family, and most of all OUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
