WILSON
MR. GROVER C. NORMAN
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Grover C. Norman, who passed away on June 22, 2019, will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 2 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with a local pastor officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mil- itary Honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the United States Navy Honor Guards.
Mr. Grover Cleveland Nor- man was born on April 22, 1949 to the parentage of Calvin and Mary Norman in Tampa, Florida.
He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middle- ton High School, Class of 1968.
Mr. Norman was a proud U. S. Navy Veteran, having served honorably during the Viet Nam Era. He worked as a Lab Tech- nician for 25 years and was also a Security Guard. Grover loved to barbecue, sit outside in the shade and relax. Some of his hobbies included fishing, lis- tening to music, cooking, taking long walks, bike rides and most importantly, just hanging out with his family.
He was baptized at St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. F. G. Hilton.
Mr. Norman was preceded in death by: his parents, Calvin and Mary Norman; brothers, Calvin and Leroy Norman; niece, Audrey Norman and nephew, Osmond Dilbert.
Grover is survived by: his son, Grover Williams; daugh- ter, Mahalia Jackson; sisters, Rochelle Gowins,
Mary Strange and husband, Rev. Vincent Strange and Cathy Dilbert; grandchildren, Zam- bria Jackson, Brandon Thomas, Chuckqae Thomas and Jasir Thomas; great- granddaughter, Alaiyah Sutherland; aunts, Clara Nor- man and Wilamena Jones; uncle, Johnny C. Jones of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; nephews, Calvin
Gowins, Vincino Strange and Nicholas Dilbert; nieces, Tawanda Lawes, Kristian Gaynor, Victoria Strange, Vanessa Strange; cousin, Annie Wesley; and a host of other sor- rowing family and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Wil- son Funeral Home from 5–8 p. m.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at the funeral home on Sat- urday at approximately 1:45 p. m. for the service.

MRS. CATHERINE MARSHALL TILLMAN
Mrs. Catherine Marshall Till- man passed away on June 23, 2019, at the Home Association Nursing Center. Catherine was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillie Mae Marshall. Cather- ine was born December 17, 1944 in Pelham, Georgia. She at- tended schools in Mitchell County. Catherine was a Home- maker.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 2 sisters, Diane Richardson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Patricia Car- rington and Earl of Cleveland, Ohio; a devoted niece and nephew, Earl and Mary Blank of Tampa, Florida; and a host of nephews and nieces and family members and friends.
There will be a Graveside Service celebrating the life and spirit of Mrs. Catherine Marshall Tillman on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 East Hanna Ave., Tampa, Florida.

MR. RAYMOND JONES, JR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Raymond Jones, Jr., of Brandon, FL, who passed away on June 20, 2019, will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 11 a.m., at New Saint Matthew Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 1006 S. 50th Street, Tampa, FL 33619, with the Rev. Alec Hall, Senior Pastor, officiating and Elder Willie J. Jones, Eulogist. Inter- ment will be private.
Mr. Jones was born on Au- gust 2, 1953, to the late Rev. Ray- mond Jones, Sr., and Rachel Parker Jones, who both pre- ceded him in death. He was a 1971 graduate of Brandon High School, where he excelled in track and was honorably dis- charged from the U. S. Air Force.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his 2 sons, Stanley E. Jones Wilson (Jennice) and Raymond Jones, 3rd, both of Tampa; 8 grandchildren, Tyne- sha Jones, Jakareon Jones (Timieka), Sierra Jones Reeves, Markebia Jones, Jayanna Tay- lor, Jarawn Jones Wilson, Kevon Spike, and A’Aroyal Jones Wilson; 10 great grand- children; 3 brothers, Mr. Harold Jones (Aziline), Elder Willie Jones, and Freddie Lee Jones; his only sister, Beverly Jones Davis; niece and caregiver, Tesha Lee; caregiver and friend, Ethel Walden; favorite cousins, Mary Francis Reid, and Jerene Williams, both of Lakeland, FL; devoted, longtime friend, Dea- con Aaron Trice; and the many neighbors of Holland Drive, who used to greet Raymond on a daily basis as he guided his wheelchair up and down the street.
He is also survived by: a mul- titude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to the entire staff of James A. Haley VA Hospital, SCI Unit D, and the Haley’s Cove Hospice Unit for the excellent care given to our loved one, and the Brothers of International Free and Accepted Masons Per- severance 527; Chyna Walker, of Exit Us Bail Bonds, Eboni Stiff, and Felecia Walker, of Speedy Bris Bail Bonds, and Moses Walker, and the entire staff of Tampa Auto Stylist.
Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at New Saint Matthew Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 1006 S. 50th Street, Tampa, FL 33619, and the lineup will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at 7920 Endive Avenue, Tampa, FL 33619, in Progress Village.

MR. FRANK WOODEN, JR.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Frank Wooden, Jr., who departed this life on June 22, 2019, will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019, 1 p. m., at St. Luke AME Church, 2709 N. 25th Street, Tampa, Florida Rev. Kirk Bogen, Pastor, with Rev. William Tay- lor, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Wooden was born No- vember 16, 1960 in Tampa, Florida, and was educated in the Hillsborough County School Sys- tem.
He was a jack of all trades and was always willing to help those in need. He had a passion for children and they would al- ways gravitate to him because he had such a good heart. He also had a sense of humor that made everyone enjoy being in his pres- ence.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Frank Wooden, Sr., and sister, Gloria Jean Sims.
Mr. Wooden is survived by: his mother, Frances Wooden; children, Jarrell Wooden (Dacia), Frankita Greene (Edrick) and their mother, Pa- tricia Greene; grandson, Javaughn Wooden; sisters, Linda Myers (Willie) and Wanda Wooden; nephews, Andre’ Davis (Angelina); nieces, Joanna Grif- fin (Vashon), Velena Brooks (Fred), Altonia Myers; great nephews, Andre Davis, II, Vashon Griffin, Jr., Jalen Brooks, Jordan Brooks, Larry Mayo, III; great nieces, Alise Davis,
Jonisha Sims, Markeshia Sims and Alexis Brooks.
He leaves to cherish precious memories of him with a special friend, Tina Tinsley, and a host of friends and neighbors, Tiffany, the Fesser, Hall, Howard, Gardner, Atkins and Clark families.
His remains will repose at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida on Friday from 5-8 p. m.
