DEACON DWIGHT EDGECOMB, SR.
A celebration of life service for Deacon Dwight Edgecomb, Sr. who passed away on Wednes- day June 8, 2016 will be held on Saturday June 18, 2016 at 10 a. m. at Beulah
Baptist Institutional Church, 1006 W. Cypress Street, Tampa, Rev. Dr. W. James Favorite, Pas- tor with Rev. Dr. Delores J. Cain, Pastor of Heritage Christian Community Baptist Church, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Ervin Edge- comb, Jr. and Inez Edgecomb; brother, Judge George E. Edge- comb; niece, Denise Parks and nephew, Reginald Parks.
He leaves to cherish memories of him with his loving and de- voted wife of 36 years, Sandra Mathis Edgecomb; son, Dwight Edgecomb, Jr.; grandchildren, Darlisha Edgecomb and Da’Nai Edgecomb; sisters, Winifred Edgecomb Batchelor and Pamela Edgecomb Scott (Carnell); brother, Norman Edgecomb; brothers-in-law, Steve Mathis
and Gary Mathis; sisters-in-law, Patricia Bankston of Atlanta, GA, Doretha Edgecomb and Felecia Edgecomb; nieces, Lisa Scott, Dionne Scott, Allison Edgecomb, Patrina Allen, Shannon Mathis, Kandice Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Normecia Edgecomb, Shawndra Mathis, Thea Walton, Donlin Mathis, Felicia Mathis and Kat- rina Hall; nephews, Carnell Scott, Jr., William Allen,
Reginald Allen, Brandon Bankston of Atlanta, GA, Corey R. Thomas and Javanta Hall; cousins, Dr. Charles Myers (Jackie), Eddie Lee Dearing, Jesse Williams (Jean) of Macon, GA; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends and classmates.
Deacon Dwight Edgecomb, Sr. was born in Tampa, Florida; he was the youngest of 5 children. He attended Carver Elementary, Just, Jr., High and graduated from Howard W. Black High School, Class of 1970. He was an outstanding Running Back and Half Back (#44). He also at- tended Erwin Vocational Techni- cal where he studied Masonry.
Deacon Dwight worked for the Tampa Housing Authority until his retirement in 2000. He was a Deacon at Heritage Christian Community Baptist Church where he served as an Usher and was a Sunday School Teacher. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, attending church and sports events, espe- cially football. He lived his life to the fullest.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day June 17, 2016 from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 9:45 a. m. for the service.

MRS. MATTIE LEE GABBEDON
Home going celebration for Mrs. Mattie Lee “Gabby” Gabbedon who went home to her Savior on Saturday, June 11, 2016 will be held on Satur- day, June 18, 2016 at 2 p. m. at Word of His Grace Chris- tian Fellowship, 2506 S. Par- sons Avenue, Seffner, Apostle Samuel L. Phillips, Sr. Pastor, with Elder Ronald Thomas, officiating.
Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Norma Ro- mans; daughter, Senora Pow- ell and her husband, Vincent Gabbedon.
Gabby leaves to cherish memories of her with her daughter, Roselinda (Her- man) Brown; twelve grand- children, Ramon (Ashlei) Carlisle, Kevin (Carolina) Carlisle, Jr., Tamica Carlisle, Reginald (Ashley) Carlisle, Sr., Allen (Alyssa) Cobb, An- thony LaRon Brown, Herman (Samantha) Brown, Jr., Anto- nio Powell, Lukesha (Dwight) Morris, Christina (Lawrence) Williams, Keith Powell and Jannie (Jurell) Jeffcoat; 17 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and loved ones and her church family.
Mattie L. Gabbedon (Gabby) was born in Ashville, NC to the parentage of Sylvester and Norma Ro- mans. Mattie graduated from Cheyney University. Gabby met and later married Vin- cent Gabbedon on June 24, 1967 and they were united in holy matrimony for 47 years.
She taught Home Econom- ics in Philadelphia and Ohio. Gabby was an extremely tal- ented seamstress and would often make things for family, friends, church members and the nursing home without them ever knowing it. One of her greatest loves was travel- ing in and out of the country. She also loved to take her 1st great grandson, Christian along with Vincent to places like Jamaica and Europe. Mattie had a great love for people and would often take others and claim them as her children.
Upon her retirement, she relocated to Tampa and con- tinued to enjoy all her fa- vorite hobbies until her health failed.
There will be a viewing on Friday June 17, 2016 from 5 – 8 p. m. with the family receiv- ing friends in the chapel from 7 – 8 p. m.
Friends are asked to as- semble at the church approx- imately 1:45 p.m. Saturday for the service.

REV. BARRON R. MADISON
Home going celebration for Rev. Barron R. Madison, Pas- tor of First
Missionary Baptist Church of Keystone will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11 a. m. at Bible-Based Fellowship of Temple Terrace, 8718 N. 46th Street, Tampa, Dr. Earl Mason, Sr., Pastor with Rev. Matthew James, officiating. Bishop Slyvester Robinson, Eulogist. Interment will fol- low in Orange Hill Cemetery.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his parents, Lillie (Gabe) Jenkins and Joe Madi- son; one brother, Reginald Madison; two step-daughters, Kwanda Hampton and Quevonna Jones; one uncle, George Nix, Jr. (Nathleen) and a host of family and friends. Special friends in- cluding Sonya and Edward Livingston, Brandall Branch and his church family.
Rev. Madison was born in Tampa, to Lillie Jenkins (Joe). He attended school in Hills- borough County and gradu- ated from Leto High School Class of 1985. He was the grandson of Deacon George and Ethel Nix, who both pre- ceded him in death. His 32nd Pastor’s Anniversary would have been June 26, 2016. Rev. Barron Madison was a stead- fast and faithful Soldier on the battlefield for the Lord, until he was called home on June 12, 2016.
The remains will repose on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5 – 7 p. m. with the family pres- ent at FirstMissionary Baptist Church of Keystone.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at the church on Tuesday at approximately 10:45 a.m.

MS. LEANDERS McCRAY
Homegoing celebration for Ms. Leanders McCray, who went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1 p. m. at Rivers of Life Church Ministries, Inc., 301 Lake- wood Drive, Brandon, with Pastor Curtis A. Swafford, of- ficiating, Rev. Tommy Neal, Eulogist. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish memories with: her son, Robert Morgan, Jr.; daugh- ters, Rickie McCray and Vic- toria Morgan; grandchildren, Shenita Hall (Marquis), Angela Slaton, Jessica Slaton (Ulysses), Ebone Young (Nykel); Robert Session, Jr. (Roshawn), Herman John- son (Latricia), Dario Wal- lace, Lena Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Anthony Morgan, Taj Morgan, Nicholas Mor- gan (Vernice), Nicole Mor- gan; a host of great grandchildren; sisters, Car- olyn Johnson and Linda Mc- Cray; nieces, Gayle Reicho, Samantha Sheard; nephews, Jerome Scott (Lovonia), James Scott; a host of great nieces and nephews; special cousin, Delorius Lester (Roosevelt) and many other sorrowing relatives and friends.
A native of Tampa, Ms. Mc- Cray was raised up in Ybor City. She attended Middleton High School. Ms. McCray spent most of her life in Tampa. She was a former employee with Honeywell, Four D, and Fabric King.
There will be a visitation on Friday, June 17, 2016 from5p.m.to8p.m.atWil- son Funeral Home with the family present to receive friendsfrom6p.m.to7p.m. in the Chapel.
