Faith And Hope vs Knowing And Believing/Your Choice

Words are powerful, yet in and of themselves are useless if not attached to an action.
As Christians, we’ve heard it all our lives. That God’s people must have and show faith to please God. That it is impos- sible to please God without having and showing at least a mustard seed amount of faith. That was drilled into our psych, drilled into our being as children.
In the Christian world, we learned early not to question the Bible and what we’re being taught. Critical thinking was not al- lowed.
Let’s look at the word Faith. Faith de- notes assurance for things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Having faith is like having Trust that God got your back.
God will make that which is crooked straight.
Hope, on the other hand, is an opti- mistic state of one’s mind. Being optimistic is having or showing hope for the future. For me, I’ve come to realize that I need not have Faith. Again, Faith is the assurance of things hoped for. So, who and what are you putting your faith/assurance in? Of course, it is God that you have faith and hope to- ward. Faith and hope that God will make a way. That praying through his Son Jesus, God will do for you – because you’ve shown not only to yourself, but to the world that you possess at least that mustard seed amount of faith.
It is said that man and mankind aspire to have the Power to command our prob- lems away. I’ve often wondered why God would bless you and not me? During sport- ing events, both teams are praying for vic- tory. Why would God show one team favor over the other?

ABC Suspends ‘The View’ Host Whoopi Goldberg
ABC News suspended "The View" host Whoopi Goldberg ( who is Jewish) for two weeks after she said the Holocaust was not about race, the network said Tuesday.
In a statement, Kim God- win, president of ABC News, called Goldberg's comments "wrong and hurtful."
"While Whoopi has apolo- gized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments," God- win said. "The entire ABC News organization stand in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, friends, family and communi- ties.”
Goldberg made the com- ments Monday morning while the panel was discussing a Ten- nessee school board’s banning

of “Maus,” a graphic novel about the Nazi death camps.
"It’s about the Holocaust, the killing of six million people, but that didn’t bother you?" she said. "If you’re going to do this, then let’s be truthful about it. Because the Holocaust isn’t about race. No, it’s not about
race.”
Another host, Joy Behar,
responded that the Nazis de- scribed Jews as a different race. "But it’s not about race," Goldberg said. "It’s not. It’s about man’s inhumanity to
other man."
When another host said that
white supremacy was behind the Holocaust — and that Nazis tar- geted Jewish and Roma people — Goldberg said those are “white groups of people.” When a third host pointed out that the Nazis didn’t view Jews as white, Goldberg said she was “miss- ing the point.”
"The minute you turn it into race, it goes down this alley," Goldberg said. "Let’s talk about it for what it is. It’s how people treat each other. It’s a problem.”
Goldberg apologized hours later.
"On today’s show, I said the Holocaust ‘is not about race, but about man’s inhumanity to man,’" she said. "I should have said it is about both. As Jonathan Greenblatt from the Anti-Defamation League shared, ‘The Holocaust was about the Nazi’s systematic an- nihilation of the Jewish people — who they deemed to be an in- ferior race.’ I stand corrected."
