Mother Louvenia H. Flo- rence of Tampa, passed away, Friday, February 16, 2018. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, February 24th at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Bishop Ronald J. Ander- son, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Louvenia H. Florence was a native and lifelong resi- dent of Port Tampa, Florida and was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She retired as a Supervisor with Catholic Charities and Mother Florence was a member of Em- manuel Tabernacle Baptist Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Irvin Harris and Marie Elder; loving husband, Bishop William Florence; daughter, Thelma Alford; sons, Jessie Harris and Henry C. Byrd; brothers, Lerome Harris and Ervin Harris, Jr. and grand- daughter, Yuvonn Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving grandchil- dren, Jessie Harris, Jr., Louis Kirchgessner, Nicole Thervil (Crowyns), Latrice Byrd (Lorenzo), Chrystal Bussey, Can- dance Crossley (Clenton) and Marcus Byrd; siblings, Willie Harris, Flora Harris and Eldora Williams; great grandchildren, Lamar Bryant, Xavier Bryant, Sedrick Bryant, Ariana Byrd, Jessieca Harris, Nicholas Thervil, Louis Kirchgessner, Jr., Hunter Kirchgessner, Cayla Crossley, Catelyn Crossley, Malakhi Bryant, Yuvonn Bryant and Abigail Bussey; great-great grandchildren, Aidyen Byrd- Jackson, Jyurnei Byrd and Na’zyia Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends.

MOTHER JOYCE KATRINA HARRELSON BURR
Mother Joyce Katrina Har- relson Burr of Tampa, lost her long fought battle with cancer on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Me- morial services will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 11 a. m. at Hope of Shiloh Community Church, 3910 E. Conover Street, with Elder Cornelius L. Moore, Interim Senior Pastor, officiat- ing. The repast will be held fol- lowing the memorial service.
Joyce was a native and life- long resident of Tampa, Florida. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1964. Joyce grew up in College Hill Commu- nity and was once crowned “Miss Basketball.”
Prior to retiring, she worked a number of years at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and for the School District of Hills- borough County. Joyce adored her children, grands, and great- grands. She was affectionately known as “Lady J” or “G- Mommy.” She loved her church family and was a devoted and faithful member of Hope of Shiloh Community Church, where she served in many capac- ities including devotional leader, 1st Sunday Choir, Prayer Service, Bible Study, Hospitality Ministry, Women of Worship Ministry, avid Sunday School member, Mother’s Ministry and a true and dedicated soldier of the Lord in every aspect. Joyce was also a member of the Women at The Well Ministry outside of church.
Joyce was preceded in death by: both parents, William and Johnnie Lee Harrelson; siblings, William (Jr.), Ozie, Lois and Linda; and great grands, Zavion and Zorian.
She leaves to mourn: daugh- ters, Shaneen Burr and Ayanna Burr White (Joseph); grandchil- dren, Joy’tricia, Sh’tedria, Kalen, Amber, Kierion and Ki-Yanna; great-grandchildren, Joi’Nijah, Jadyn, Jai’La, Justice, Ambria, Jaremyah, Aubree and Ja’Mau- ria; brothers, Chester Harrelson (Carolyn) and Derrick Harrel- son; sister, Brenda Young (Ernest); great aunts, Julia and Hattie (Johnny); nieces, Gwen, Patricia, Treshena, Krystal, Yvette, Yakima, Kisha, Erica, Ashley, Brittney and Jamille; nephews, Leroy, Marquis and Al- fred; godchildren, Dennarius Murphy and Tiffany Poole; spe- cial longtime friends, Bettye, Carlis, Celeste, Gail, Ada, and Lil- lian; special cousins, Delores and Doreatha; her loving church fam- ily at Hope of Shiloh Community Church; and a host of many other relatives and life, long friends and acquaintances. MRS. ODESSA BROWN ROBERTS
Mrs. Odessa Brown Roberts of Tampa, passed away Thurs- day, February 15, 2018. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, February 24th, at 10 a. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pastor, with Reverend Wallace Bowers, Eulogist. In- terment will follow in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Odessa was a native of Lily, GA and a pioneer resident of Progress Village, Tampa, FL, since the early 1960s. She was baptized at an early age at Mine Creek United Methodist Church, Sumpter County, GA and sang in a gospel group as a teenager. She was employed for many years as a domestic engi- neer caring for the young and elderly and was active in the Community Civic Council, and an avid fundraiser for The March of Dimes. Odessa was a member of The First Baptist Church of Progress Village where she is recognized as one of the Pioneer members, Dea- coness, Sunday School Teacher, Assistant Sunday School Super- intendent, BTU, Women’s Mis- sion, No. 1 Usher Board, Assistant Director of the Youth Ushers and has served under the pastorate of the founding pastor, Rev. B. T. Williams, Rev. Roosevelt Robinson, Jr. and now pastor, Dr. Sam Maxwell, until her failing health would no longer permit.
Mrs. Odessa Roberts was preceded in death by: her par- ents, Phillip Brown, Sr. and Frances Horton Brown; daugh- ters, Wanda Roberts and Emma Jean Lockett; siblings, Jimmie Lee Brown, Ruby Smith, Ray- mond Brown, Florine Johnson, Mae Frances Marshall, James Otis Brown and Beverly Davis.
Odessa leaves to cherish precious memories with: her devoted husband, Charles Sid- ney Roberts; loving children, Charles Roberts, Jr. (Twanda), Marjorie Lynn Bowden (Dedrick, deceased) and Johnny McCauley (Betty); a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, James Brown and James Edward Brown; sisters, Polly Rentz and Betty Brown; brothers-in-law, Cooper (Carolyn) and James Roberts; sisters-in-law, Lois McWhorter, Daisy Miller and Ozena Laster; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
The remains will repose and the family will receive friends from 5-8 p. m. Friday, February 23, at First Baptist Church of Progress Village.

MS. MAE FRANCES LUNDY
Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Mae Frances Lundy, who passed peacefully to her eternal rest on Sunday, February 18, 2018, will be held on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Tampa, Florida (33619) with Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memo- ries Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by: her mother and father, Eliza- beth and Jerry; aunts, Annie Smith, Loucille Lundy, Zedna Jackson, Addie Hill, Edith Mof- fett, Hattie Bell Lundy, Clara Graham Rich, Christine Davis; uncles, Lonnie Graham, Sonny Man, Jacob Graham; brothers, Nick Lundy, Jessie J. Lundy, William Lundy; and grandson, Carlos Antonio Es- quire Lundy.
Memories of Mae will forever be cherished by: her children, Wanda Denise Lundy of States- boro, GA, Roosevelt Philyor, Jr. (Wanda Campbell Philyor), Carl- ton Philyor (Robin Bryant Phi- lyor) and Eric Philyor (Dalys Gilling), all of Tampa, FL; grand- children, Kelphie Kinte Lundy (Shammonica Lundy), Eliza- beth Kelonda Ogelsby, Kenny James Oglesby, all of Statesboro, GA, Kimberly Denise Lundy of Savannah, GA, Daniel Elijah Phi- lyor, Trenicka Philyor Thornton (Nick Thornton), Alakeisha Phi- lyor, Rasheed Philyor, Jordan Alexis Philyor, Maegan Alyssa Philyor, all of Tampa; and a mul- titude of great-grandchildren; brother, James Willie Lundy (Beatrice) of Lake Wales, FL; aunts, Anna Lou Eason, Lillie Bell Lundy, both of Statesboro, GA; and a multitude of cousins and close friends.
Ms. Mae Frances Lundy was born on June 19, 1938 to Mrs. Elizabeth Graham Lundy and Mr. Jerry Lundy in Statesboro, GA. Mae relocated to Tampa in 1954, where she was profession- ally employed as an Administra- tive Assistant prior to retiring from The Children’s Home at Lake Magdalene.
She enjoyed serving for many years on the Usher Board at First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage, participating as a member of the Red Hat Society, and spending time with family and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, February 23, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 5–8p.m.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at the church on Saturday at approximately 1:45 p. m. for the service.

MR. FRANKLIN L. WILLIAMS
Mr. Franklin L. Williams, 72, passed away on February 12, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Frank is survived by his sis- ter of Sacramento, CA and his brother of Santee, NC.
Frank will be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
