RAY WILLIAMS
MS. GLORIA JEAN HINES
Ms. Gloria Jean Hines, Mother, Friend and a Child of God, of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, January 7, at 11 a. m. at Faith Temple Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 2916 Orient Road, with Reverend Danny C. Osborne, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Ms. Gloria Hines was a na- tive of Barbados, West Indies and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. She attended Howard W. Blake High School and Robinson High School. Ms. Hines was the CEO/Founder of GSH Gospel Music Awards and a member of Godside Mis- sionary Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Samuel N. Hines and his wife, Bilalia; grandchildren, Tahj Ali, Samaya Ali, Tabari Ali and Naila Ali; goddaughter, Michelle Dix and family; god- sons, Reverend Rick Rollins and Peter Andrew; aunts, Freddie Mae Tyes and Carol Simpson; nephews, Kevin Simpson, and Eric Lester; ex- tended family, Debra Townsend and Ronita Hines; and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, cousin, other sorrowing relatives and all of the Tampa Bay Area Gospel Church Artists and Musicians. Never forget Gloria Hines LOVED Gospel music. She will be truly missed.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. on Friday, Janu- ary 6, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Av- enue.

MS. TANYALE MARCHMAN
Ms. Tanyale Marchman of Tampa passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 7 at 2 p. m. at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, 1006 W. Cypress Street, Reverend Dr. W. James Favorite, Pastor with Pastor Larry S. Troupe of Uni- versal Church of the Harvest, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Tanyale was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa and was educated by the School District of Hillsbor- ough County.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Eddy Fedd; sis- ter, Linda Faye; and brother, Eric Marchman.

MR. EDWARD RAY
Mr. Edward “Eddie” Ray of Tampa passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017. A Memorial service will be conducted Sat- urday, January 7, at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue.
Mr. Edward “Eddie” Ray was born October 1922 in Live Oak, Florida to Ollie and James Ray and he attended Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg, FL. Mr. Ray received Christ at an early age and joined St. James A. M. E. Church as one of the first Steward Board Members. He was affiliated with An- heuser-Busch and Norman Bonds Companies and numer- ous Tour Bus Companies.
Mr. Ray enjoyed volunteer- ing with children at schools and was a strong pillar in the neighborhood. He served as a Lieutenant Military Police. He also received The Special Award from Sandra W. Freed- man in recognition of Service to the Minority Youth Leader- ship Program.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Ollie and James Ray; and brother, Rufus Ray.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 39 years, Marva Ray; children, Deborah Ray (Jesse), Latoria Ray (Vince), Willie Brown, Diane Ray (Rick), Anton Van Anderson (Pam), and Marcus; grandchildren, Derrell Ray, Victoria Carter, Victor Carter, Verrell Carter, Vinson Carter, Tenisha Brown, Deytren Brown, Sherell and 12 grand and great grands; mother-in-law, Gladys Bonner; 2 sisters, Oretha Moore and Fredthare Woolridge; broth- ers-in-law, Rufus (Ethel) Bon-
ner and Darryl Bonner; 3 god- daughters, Latisha Whitehead (Stephen), Janice Williams, and Shanti Puryear (Chris); 1 god- son, Reynaldo Kindred; nephew, Reverend Charles Ray (Annie); niece, Pearl Mitchell (James); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Ms. Denise “Dee Dee” Sir- mons of Tampa passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016. A public viewing will be held Fri- day, January 6, from 7:30 to 8:30 p. m. at Ray Williams Fu- neral Home, 301 N. Howard Av- enue.
Ms. Sirmons was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, FL. She was a graduate of H. B. Plant High School and a member of Mt. Sinai A. M. E. Zion Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her only child, Shana A. Sirmons; a loving and devoted mother, Ms. Dora L. Sirmons (Kimberly) of Lakeland, FL; fa- ther, Preston “Frank” Simms, Jr.; two sisters, Danielle L. Sir- mons and LaKesha Simms; two brothers, Preston R. Simms and Prince Simms; three uncles, Reginald Sirmons, Sr., Calvin Sirmons, Sr., and Robert Simms; two aunts, Sylvia (Neal) and Marcia (Derrick, Sr.); a very loving and devoted cousin, John- nie K. MS. JEWELL F. SNEAD
Ms. Jewell F. Snead of Tampa, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 7, at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue, Reverend Rayford Harper, Pastor with Reverend Dr. Thomas Hadden, III, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Jewell F. Snead was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa. She was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1969 and she furthered her education with Hillsborough Community Col- lege. Ms. Snead was employed as a Financial Counselor with Hillsborough County for many years. She was a mem- ber of the Harram Court #96 Daughters of Isis Oasis of Tampa and a member of the Lola Simon Chapter #162- OES=PHA.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Clarence Williams and Catherine Wells; ex-husband, Sam Snead; mother-in-law, Adell Snead; brothers, Clarence Williams, Jr., Charles John- son, and Theodore Johnson; sisters-in-law, Loretha McWhite and Anita Snead; aunts, Thelma Velasquez, Mil- dred Freeman and Delores Randolph; uncles, George Williams, Jerome Scott, Samuel Wells, Uncle Al, Uncle Bonnie and Eddie Thomas.
