DEATH NOTICE
PAULINE BRYANT
Pauline Bryant, age 70, of Plant City, FL died December 4, 2016. Services will be held January 7, 2017 at 11 a. m. at the Planteen Recreation Center in Plant City. Reception to follow.
MR. ELIJAH WEAVER
Mr. Elijah Weaver of Tampa passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. Funeral service will be conducted Sat- urday, January 7, at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue with Pastor Mr. Ray- mond Jenkins, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Weaver was a native of Ocala, FL and a resident of Tampa for 50+ years. He at- tended Marion County Public Schools. Mr. Weaver retired from Porter Roofing where he was employed for 40+ years.
He was preceded in death by: his mother and father, Mary and Elijah Weaver; two sisters, Ella Johnson and Julia Latham; three brothers, Cur- tis Hamilton, Milton and Tim- othy Weaver; two stepsons, Larshae Howard and Lavardis Harris; and one niece, Brenda Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his only daughter, Mashonda Jackson (Sterling); also Kimberly Thornton, Heather Williams (Keving- ton), and Eric Diggs; two grandkids, Johnathan Gay, Jr. and Danasia Banks; and 17 others he treated as his own; nieces and nephews, Linda Edwards, Rosie Mae Johnson, Cleveland Johnson, Darlene Johnson, Patricia Smith (Willie James), Lou Renzie Simmons (Johnnie Mack), Levell Lathan, Vickie Richards, Marcia Walls, Syb- rina Brunson (Kevin), Darren Lathan, Daphne Lathan, Mar- quis Lathan, Derrick Dunbar, Demetrice Weaver, Frieda Rickerson (Randy), Ceaser Jenkins (Kristina) and many more great nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and long time friends; a very close friend, Priscilla Johnson.
The remains will repose after 5 p.m. Friday, January 6, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, and the family will re- ceive friends from 6 to 7 p. m. at the chapel.

MRS. LILLIAN M. BRYANT
Graveside service for Mrs. Lillian M. Bryant who passed away on Friday, De- cember 30, 2016 will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida with Bishop Isaac Andrews, Jr. officiating. In- terment will follow.
Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by: her parents, An- drew and Marie Austin; son, Steve Bryant, Sr.; grandson, Steve Bryant, Jr.; and hus- band, Walter Bryant.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by: her son, Bruce Bryant (Margaret); 7 grandchil- dren, Ashontaye McGee (Kenneth), Adrian Bryant, Orlonda Slater, Tiffany Lewis (Daniel), Christopher Bryant (Tyiesha), Ashley Powell (Patrick, Sr.), and Alexis Bryant; 12 great grands; 3 great-great grands; 4 great-great-great grands; 2 sisters and 1 brother, Eddie Lee Range, Mays Austin and Labertha Cohen; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Bryant; and a host of other family and friends.
Mrs. Lillian M. Bryant was born to the parentage of An- drew and Marie Austin on May 27, 1926 in Thonoto- sassa, FL. After attending school, she was united in holy matrimony to Walter Bryant. The couple later moved to Tampa and to this union 2 devoted sons, Bruce Bryant and Steve Bryant, Sr. were born. Mrs. Bryant re- ally had a passion for life and will be remembered for the love and time shared with her grandchildren, lov- ing family, friends and dear neighbors.
THERE WILL BE NO PUB- LIC VIEWING. Friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery at approximately 10:45 a. m. Friday.

MS. MERVAINE D. RICKS
Funeral service for Ms. Mervaine D. Ricks who passed away on December 25, 2016 will be held on Sat- urday, January 7, 2017 at 11 a. m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3804 Danny Bryan Blvd., Tampa, Florida with Brother Willie Richardson, officiating and Chairman Tavares Balk- man.
Ms. Ricks leaves to cher- ish precious memories with: her siblings, Rudolph Ricks, Jr. and wife, Yvette T., Calvin D. Ricks and wife, Denise, and Sharon M. Ricks McNeely and hus- band, Hubert A., III; nieces, nephews; uncles, Ray Tay- lor and Mack Taylor; aunts, Ginnell Sims, Caroline Heard and husband, Jimmy, Gloria Elliot, Marsennia Haynes and hus- band, Greg and Martha Ann Watson; great nieces and nephews; cousins and other relatives and friends.
A native of Hampton, Georgia Ms. Ricks had resided in the area since 1968. Ms. Ricks was em- ployed with ProQuest since age 17 until her passing. She was a member of the King- dom Hall of Jehovah’s Wit- nesses, East Tampa Congregation.
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 6, 2017 from5–8p.m.atWilson Funeral Home. Friends are asked to assemble at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday at approximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.
