Juveniles Arrested
Following Shooting At Apartment Complex
Two juveniles were taken into custody in connection with a shooting Monday night. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
According to police, shortly before 9 p.m., gunshots rang out in the 1500 Scott Street in Tampa Park Apartments. Offi- cers responded to the corner of Scott Street and Scott Drive in reference to a person being shot.
The officers said the victim was uncooperative with inves- tigators, but had suffered a non-life threatening injury to the left hip.
Tampa Park Security fol- lowed the vehicle to the Oakhurst Apartment Com- plex. The officers located the vehicle and observed weapons in plain view.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and none of the names of those involved were released.
Police Investigate Shooting That Left 1 Dead, 2 Injured
The St. Petersburg Police De- partment is currenty investi- gating a shooting that left one man dead and two others in- jured. The names of the victims have not been released.
Police responded to 3827 1st Avenue, South Wednesday af- ternoon in reference to a shoot- ing. When they arrive they discovered that one of the men died of his injuries. The two
victims who survived the shooting were transported to Bayfront Health Hospital.
One of the men was critically injured and underwent sur- gery. The second victim’s in- juries were not considered life-threatening, police said.
The investigation into the shooting is continuing and no one has been arrested in the case.
Man Arrested After Chasing, Shooting Girlfriend
Police arrested a 26-year-old man Tuesday after a domestic dispute turned violent. He is being held at the Hillsborough County Jail on numerous charges
According to the Tampa Po- lice Department, officers were dispatched to a home in the 3400 block of Carioca Court, in reference to domestic violence. When the officers arrived after receiving the call, they located Ms. Paris S. Holmes, 25, at another location. She had been hit by gunfire twice. She was transported to a local hospital where she was admitted in sta- ble condition with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that at approximately 4:20 a.m., that morning, Andron Tobias McKinney came home, allegedly under the in- fluence and was acting errati- cally. At some point, he attacked Ms. Holmes, knocked her to the ground as he punched, and bit her repeat- edly.
Ms. Holmes was able to get away from him, and ran from the home. McKinney re- portedly armed himself with a gun and chased her, shooting at her several times. She was hit twice, but managed to es- cape further injury, police said.

based on evidence, the officers came in contact with McKin- ney and arrested him without further incident.
He was transported to the Hillsborough County Jail, where he was charged with ag- gravated battery with great bodily harm, being a felon in possession of a firearm, bat- tery, second or subsequent of- fense, possession of a controlled substance, and pos- session of drug paraphernalia.
Jail records show that bond on the charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of cocaine, and being a felon in possession of a firearm was revoked.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL- A 35- year-old man died Wednesday morning after a confrontation with police. The confrontation between the man and the offi- cers took place in the 1400 block of 5th Avenue, North.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the location after received a tip about drugs being used by men outside the location. When Officer Patrick McGovern, a 21-year veteran with the department arrived, he told five people to leave the property. Four of the men complied, but Joshua G. Dove became confrontational with the officer. At one point, Dove reportedly ran onto 5th Avenue, North and then back towards the officer. One of the men attempted to restrain him, but he resisted. Both men fell to the ground as Officer Bradley Lightfield arrived.
At that point a very violent struggle took place with Dove and the two officers. Two other officers arrived as Dove con- tinued to fight. One of the offi- cers deployed his taser, but it had no apparent effect on Dove.
After Dove was struck with the taser for a second time, the officers were able to handcuff him. When the officers at-

tempted to walk Dove to the police car, he allegedly began kicking and resisting again.
Dove fell limp as the officers attempted to secure his legs. Fire Rescue had been called be- cause of the use of the taser and arrived as Dove went into medical distress, police said.
Dove was transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital, two blocks from the location, where he was pronounced deceased. Po- lice said Dove did not have any drugs on his possession. How- ever, witnesses told police he had smoked spice just before police arrived.
The cause of death is pend- ing the results of an autopsy and the investigation is contin- uing.

Reward For Serial Arsonist Rises To $8,000
Law enforcement have estab- lished a partnership in an effort to identify a serial arsonist. Eight intentional fires have been set since November 13th, in Hillsborough County. The last fire took place on Decem- ber 14th.
The agencies, the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, the Hillsborough County Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal’s Office is offering two separate rewards for informa- tion leading to the identity and arrest of the person responsible for setting the fires.
Currently, police are investi- gating the following eight (8) fires that have been deter- mined as arsons.
November 13 --- 7903 Tidewater Trail, in the Clair Mel City area of Hillsborough County. The building was va- cant.
November 14 --- 10830 Bryan Road, vacant building November 14 --- 10708 Bryan Road, vacant mobile home. These two fires were located in the Casa Verde Mobile Home Park.
November 17 --- 9428 Polak Drive, vacant mobile home in the Paradise Village Mobile Home Park
November 29 --- 1114 Johnson Road, in Plant City, occupied mobile home, but no one was home at the time of the fire
December 1 --- 124 Palmetto Terrace vacant mobile home in the Casa Verde Mobile Home

December 4 --- 9405
Tiffany Terrace, vacant mobile home, Paradise Village Mobile Home Park
December 12-14 --- 10418 Highway 92 East
Police have developed a pos- sible vehicle description during their investigation. They are searching for an older model Toyota or Nissan with shiny rims and a rear spoiler with a loud exhaust.
The rewards are being of- fered by two different agencies. Each agency has its own re- quirements in order to collect the reward.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for in- formation pertaining to the ar- sonist. Crime Stoppers requires the person providing informa- tion to contact them directly in order to collect the reward.

The Clearwater Police De- partment is investingating the shooting death of a 10-year- old boy. The shooting took place at the Lindru Garden Apartments, 711 S. Lincoln Av- enue, in Clearwater.
According to police, the 9-1- 1 call was received at 8:27 a.m., Thursday morning. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the child had been fatally injured and died at the scene. He was located in a bottom-floor apartment.
Details pertaining to the shooting were limited at press time. The name of the victim had not been released.
