WILKENSBURGH, PA -- A Pennsylvania mom who pleaded for "justice" after her toddler's body was found in a ravine has been arrested and charged with the child's death.
Adriene Williams, who reported her 3-year-old daughter missing on June 14, was arrested Tuesday on charges of criminal homicide, endangering the welfare of a child, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
The 27-year-old single mom told police that the toddler, Adrionna Williams, likely wandered away from their Wilkinsburgh home, just out- side downtown Pittsburgh, that evening.
Less than an hour later, the child's body was found dead in the neighboring suburb of Swissvale, about two miles away.
Her cause of death was as- phyxiation and the manner of death homicide, the Allegheny
County Medical Examiner said.
According to an arrest war- rant, the girl's mother had al- legedly struggled with raising the little girl on her own and so suffocated the girl before dumping her body.
Adriene Williams, 27, was taken into custody when her 3-year- old daughter Adrionne was found in a ravine.

Jarrell Milton, 12, is the third suspect arrested after a shooting in Omaha, Neb., that left one man dead and another injured. Prosecutors say Milton, his older brother Jamar E. Milton, 17, and another teen, Shuntayvious Primes-Willis, 15, reeled in their two adult victims last month with a promise to sell them marijuana near Miller Park, according to the newspaper.
OMAHA, NE -- A 12- year-old Nebraska boy who was wanted for murder in a gang-related shooting in Omaha was arrested Tuesday night nearly 400 miles from the scene, according to re- ports.
Jarrell Milton's two al- leged accomplices were ar- rested Monday and charged as adults with first-degree murder, but the boy had been on the lam until the U.S. Mar- shals Service nabbed him in Minneapolis on Tuesday night, police told the Omaha
World-Herald. Authorities will begin court proceedings to take him back to Omaha to stand trial, the World-Herald reported early Wednesday. The trio allegedly tried to rob Jamymell Ray, 31, and Charles Fisher, 30, before at least one defendant, or pos- sibly all three, opened fire on the victims June 29, the World-Herald reported. Ray died in the attack.
Fisher, who was wounded, escaped and later identified the alleged attackers in a lineup, the newspaper re-
ported. A judge denied Primes-Wills and Jamar Milton bond Tuesday and prosecutors are deciding how to proceed with Jarrell Mil- ton, Douglas County Attor- ney Don Kleine said.
Investigators are also ex- amining how the three sus- pects may have found the guns and what sort of parental supervision they had, the World-Herald reported. Ne- braska’s largest city has suf- fered from gang violence recently, Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer.
The Bear Wanted Out:
Shatters Glass At Zoo
A grizzly bear tossed a 50-pound rock against a floor-to-ceiling ob- servation glass pane, repeatedly battering the zoo enclosure until it appeared to crack.
No, this was not a scene from bestseller James Pat- terson's new serialized TV drama "Zoo."
Luckily for stunned visitors to the brown bear exhibit at the Minnesota Zoo on Mon- day, the 2 1⁄2 inch thick safety
glass pane held firm.
But the 800-pound
Alaskan grizzly, named Kenai, one of three orphaned bears at the Minneapolis zoo, was being playful and not ag- gressive, according to zookeepers.
