NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS AND PUBLIC PARTICIPATION ON
THE ANALYSIS OF BROWNFIELD CLEANUP
ALTERNATIVES / REMEDIAL ACTION PLAN FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE ACTIONS
For City owned property located at 1103 N Nebraska Avenue Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida
The City of Tampa has been awarded a Brownfields Environmental Site Assessment and Cleanup Petroleum Products Multi-Purpose Grant in the total amount of $400,000.00 for potential reuse and redevelopment of City owned property located at 1103 North Nebraska Avenue.
As part of the grant award process, the City of Tampa is required to obtain public input on the draft Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) and to make available for public inspection the administrative records related to cleanup of the property. The ABCA describes environmental response activities to be conducted at the property; including contaminated soil removal.
The Administrative Record, which contains the documents that form the basis for the selection of a cleanup plan, including copies of the ABCA, reports on the environmental conditions of the site, and other related or administrative documents until the cleanup of the property is complete, is available for public inspection during regular business hours at:

Interested persons are encouraged to submit written com- ments on the ABCA. All written comments submitted in a timely manner will be considered by the City of Tampa in the decision of selection of a cleanup plan for the property. This public notice comment period will end thirty (30) days from the date of publication.
Any interested person may request a public hearing concerning this proposed ABCA. Such a public hearing is for informational purposes only. The request for public hearing must be filed with the City of Tampa within thirty (30) days of publication of this notice. Persons requesting a public hearing must state their interest in the matter and state reasons why such a hearing is warranted. A public hearing will be held if there is a sufficient public interest.
