Worship Leader’s Birthday To Be Celebrated With Gospel Musical

In just a few days the Tampa community will be exposed to what is being called, “an incredible night of music.” The event will be the cel- ebration of Warren Davis’ 37th birthday.
The Blackout Musical Celebra- tion will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Exciting Faith Alive Church, 5705 E. 32nd Ave., Tampa, where Antonio R. Hawkins is Pastor.
Gospel Transformation, Exciting Faith Alive Church, and Amyra- hamore Events are sponsoring the celebration. Host for the evening will be Marquis Jelks, of Praise- Breaks_CommercialBreaks.
Special guests will include 2- time Stellar Award winner, Lisa Knowles-Smith, Pastor Chris Williams and 3-time Stellar Award nominee, Vincent Tharpe

A Tampa native, Warren is known throughout the community. In addition to being a Worship Leader, he is a gospel recording
artist and producer.
“I often say I was born in
Tampa, but raised in Memphis (TN),” he says. He lived in Mem- phis for more than 10 years. He moved to Tennessee when he was 19 years old to accept a fulltime po- sition as Minister of Music.
Warren has been featured on BET’s Dr. Bobby Jones Show, and appeared with the award winning Nashville Super Choir, Kevin Davidson and the Voices of Mem- phis, TN, as well as countless gospel recordings.
He is currently in the studio working on his first solo worship project, and overseeing the music ministry in the role as Minister of Worship & Arts at the Exciting Faith Alive Church.
“What’s for me in the future? I’m looking to travel more interna- tionally, and officially launch my own record label to create opportu- nities for others,” he said.
