Tampa Native Participates In Training Exercise

 On Sunday, February 24th, members of First Bap- tist Church of College Hill gathered for their Annual Black History Month Cele- bration. The event was held at the church.

Recently, members of First Baptist Church Of College Hill held their Annual Black History Program. Among those in at- tendance were: Ms. Fannie Keith, Dr. Evan S. Burrows, Sr., Pastor, Ms. Donna Douglas, who delivered the Keynote Ad- dress, Ms. Janet Clark, and Ms. Ernestine Glenn.

   Two Enlistees Complete Basic Military Training

Two young adults with ties to the Tampa Bay Area re- cently completed basic mili- tary training. They each participated in the graduation ceremony held at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Air Force Base, in San Anto- nio, Texas.
Airman Taea S. Jhin- goree-Ifill and Airman Mikayla R. Whiteley com- pleted an intensive, eight-week program that included train- ing in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic war-

fare principles and skills. They also earned four cred- its toward an Associate in Ap- plied Science Degree through the Community College of the
Air Force.
Airman Jhingoree-Ifill is the daughter of Simone T. Jhingoree, of Tampa. She graduated from Brooks De- Bartolo Collegiate High School in 2016.
Airman Whiteley is the daughter of Carrie A. Hart, of Tampa. She is a 2018 grad- uate of Dunedin High School, Dunedin.
