Supervisor Of Elections Offers Runoff Update

Craig Latimer, Hillsbor- ough County Supervisor of Elections is encouraging those who have not registered to vote in the upcoming runoff election to do so. The runoff election will take place on April 23rd.
However, anyone who has
not registered must do so no
later than Monday, March 25th.
Those who are already reg- istered, can update their infor- mation, such as changing their names or updating their ad- dress.
Those wishing to request a Vote By Mail ballot can do so by calling (813) 744-5900, or by visiting the website at www.VoteHillsborough.org.
During the runoff election voters will choose between Jane Castor and David Straz for Mayor.
Joseph Citro will take on Walter L. Smith, II, for the District 1 Seat.
In the District 3 race,
John Dingfelder will face Stephen Lytle and Orlando Gudes will compete against Jeffrey Rhodes for the Dis- trict 5 Seat.
Early Voting
Early Voting for the runoff election will begin on Sunday, April 14th and end on Saturday, April 20th.
The Early Voting locations are: Cyrus Greene Center; Fred B. Karl County Cen- ter; Jan Platt Regional Li- brary; New Tampa Regional Library; North Tampa Branch Library; Bob Gilder Elections Serv- ice Center; and West Tampa Branch Library.
What To Bring
Voters will be required to provide one or two forms of identification. Acceptable identification includes: Florida Driver License; Florida ID Card issued by the Depart- ment of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; U. S. Pass- port; Debit or Credit Card; Military ID; Student ID; Re-

  NAACP Branch Membership Meeting Is Thursday
Yvette Lewis, President of the Hillsborough County Branch NAACP, announces that the General Membership Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019, 6:30 p. m. The meeting will be held at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa 33602.
The invited speaker will be David W. Gwyn, P. E., District Seven Secretary, Florida Department of Transportation.
