WILSON
MR. BOOKER T. TUCKER, SR.
A private celebration service will be held for Mr. Booker T. Tucker, Sr., who passed away on September 11, 2020.
Mr. Booker T. Tucker, Sr., was born on December 18, 1929, in Sylvester, Georgia, to the parent- age of the late John Tucker and Al- berta Davis. He was the second of twelve children.
Booker spent his childhood years with his parents and sib- lings, attending grade school in Sylvester, GA. He later went to live with his grandfather, John Holder, “Big Paw” in Dougherty County, GA on the farm. There he learned the value of hard work, tending to the animals and crops.
Booker never met a stranger; he was kind and generous to every- one around him. He easily con- nected with people and went out of his way to help anyone in need. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, frequenting flea markets, fixing antique cars, baking cakes and pies, collecting coins and guns, watching westerns, wrestling and listening to Old Spir- itual Gospel music.
He was preceded in death by: his wife of sixty-five years, Mother Mildred Tucker; grandson, Jaquan Tucker; nine brothers, John Tucker, Jr., Tommie Lee Tucker, Eddie Malone, Christopher Hall, Rufus Hamilton, Grover T. Hamil- ton, Learndis Hamilton, Sr., Jake Hamilton, Tommy Hamilton and sister, Betty Jean Hamilton.
Booker T. Tucker, Sr., leaves to cherish memories of him with his three loving sons, Jimmie Tucker, Sr., (Sandra), Walter Tucker (Gladys) and Booker T. Tucker, Jr.. (Cindy); his devoted and lov- ing, precious daughter, Peggy A. Cobbs; grandson, Maurice Tucker, whom he and Mit raised as their own; all of Tampa, FL; 10 loving grandchildren, sixteen great, grands and nine great, great grands; a loving and dedicated sis- ter, Mary Thomas (Earl) of Lake Wales, FL.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in- law, Louise Mitchell of Sylvester, Ga. and Geraldine Toombs of Lake Wales, FL; his favorite dog, Muf- fin, who he called “Sister Muff,” and a host of church family, other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day September 25, 2020, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.
Due to the current CDC re- strictions, we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportu- nity to pay your final respect. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.

Although it’s only been 1 year, it feels like yesterday that you qui- etly slipped away to your heavenly home. Our hearts are broken into many pieces, but the love and memories will always be there. You’re forever in our hearts and missed beyond measure by those who loved you.
Sadly missed by: wife, Inez; Stacy, Van, Sharron, Carlton, Rashad, Rochelle, and family.

daughter of John William Tobias of California and the late Delores Curtis Tobias.
Charlotte leaves to cherish her memories with: her two daughters, Moieshay and Ashaki Tobias; 3 grandchildren, Aubrey Tobias, Khari Whitehead and Monreaux Tobias, of Baton Rouge, LA; part- ner, Mark Evans of Tampa, FL; 4 uncles, 2 aunts; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Delores, grandpar- ents, 2 uncles and 2 aunts.
The Tobias family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their kind- ness and care in her final days in Bartow, Florida.
A Private Memorial service will be held in Baton Rouge, LA, on September 26, 2020 at 10:30 a. m. Due to COVID and distant rela- tives/friends, the services will be available via Zoom (Meeting ID: 437 400 8055 and Passcode: 7jwsRA).
Ms. Charlotte Marie Tobias, age 58, of Tampa, Florida, went to her heavenly home on Monday, September 7, 2020, after her battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born on September 16, 1961, in New Orleans, LA, the
