A Memorial Ceremony cele- brating the life of Ms. Patricia Kennedy “McCloud,” who passed away on February 13, 2019, will be held this Friday March 8, 2019, at 11 a. m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 North 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Otis Cooper, New Rising Star Ministries, of- ficiating.
Ms. Kennedy was born Oc- tober 1,1951.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Sam McCloud and Willie Mae Williams; step- dad, Robert Williams; 2 sisters, Betty Barr and Jessie Pearl Graham.
Survivors include: 3 daugh- ters, Nicole Batts, Stacie Batts, and Camille McCloud-Burney (Garland); 1 son, Shon Rouse (Shandra) and special daughter (Laquita); grandchildren, William Batts, 3rd, Myron Drayton, Miranda Drayton, Javonte Batts, Jahnah Brown, Donmonique Johnson, Nadiyah Williams, Trenisha Williams, Tremayne Williams, Jr., and Shanecia Rouse; 7 great grands, nieces, nephew and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Serv- ice for Mr. Hezekiah Ford, III, will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 11 a. m. at St. James Primitive Baptist Church, 904 SE 4th St., Mulberry, FL 33860. The wake will be Fri- day, March 8th, 5-7 p. m., at the church.
Hezekiah Ford, III, was born on August 10, 1967, to the late Hezekiah Ford, Jr. and Sarah Dempsey.
He was a very intelligent young man, who received sev- eral academic awards throughout his educational years. He excelled in Mathe- matics and Physics. He com- pleted his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from FAMU,
Police have located an eld- erly man who had been miss- ing since Friday. He was located the next day.
According to police, Paul R. Brown, 62, was last seen around 4:30 p.m. in the New Tampa area.
His family reported him missing because he suffers from severe dementia.
Brown was located and returned to his family Satur- day. He was in good condi- tion, police said.

 Senior Protection Team To Fight Fraud And Abuse Involving Elderly
Attorney General Ash- ley Moody announced Florida’s Senior Protection Team, an intra-agency group of experts working together to fight fraud and abuse. The team is comprised of leading members from the Attorney General’s Office of Statewide
reach efforts. The goal is to bring attor- neys and investigators special- ized in fighting civil, criminal and health care fraud together to develop strategies to protect
Floridians 60 and older.
Attorney General Ash- ley Moody said, “This team of highly-skilled attorneys and investigators is laser focused on identifying, investigating and eliminating fraud and abuse harming Florida sen- iors. More than five million seniors call Florida home. Many of these great Ameri- cans have served our country and economy in countless ways. We owe it to them to make sure they can enjoy their golden years free from the threat of financial exploitation and physical abuse.”
Statewide Prosecutor Nick Cox is leading the Florida At- torney General’s Senior Pro- tection Team. FDLE has committed to holding agents from regions across the state to aid the team in its efforts.
This team of experts is working together and consult- ing outside senior protection experts from law enforcement, other state agencies, and pri- vate advocates and stakehold- ers to focus on senior abuse; neglect; fraud; service related issues; long-term care; guardianship; law enforce- ment training; and educa- tional outreach. The team will also work to identify emerging scams, spot trends and stay ahead of changes in technol- ogy used to prey on seniors.
The initiative is part of At- torney General Moody’s week-long National Consumer Protection Week campaign.

He mainly worked as an educator, teaching Math at FAMU, FAMU High School, Florida State, and during the summer in the MITE Program for minority students. He taught school in 5 different states: Florida, Texas, Ten- nessee, Michigan and Con- necticut.
He loved his family and dedicated a lot of his time studying and relaying family history and relationships. He also loved to travel and would just pop up at any time to a family event or just because. He loved to cook and never passed up a good piece of cake.
Hezekiah departed this life and entered his eternal home on February 21, 2019.
He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories: his sis- ters, Leslie Ann Ford, Donna Marie Ford, and the late Ann Mara Ford (Dara Ford); brothers, Kenny Ford and An- thony Paul; nephews, Gerald Duffey, Jr. (Jennifer), and Gregory Abrams, Jr. (Laurie); nieces, Maria Dorceius (Winsly) and Kamauri Ellis and Kyah Kennedy Ford; great-nephew, Brodie Duffey; godmother, Delores Hans- berry; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, friends and students, who all loved him dearly.
