Johnny Watson Celebrates 69th Birthday Aboard Starship
Johnny Watson observed his 69th birthday on Thursday, May 27th aboard the Starship. Johnny has been an employee of the Starship for the past 12 years.
Johnny and his family members enjoyed a nice dinner with appetizers
and drinks, followed by dessert and dancing with music by a disc jockey. Among those joining him were, 3 daughters, granddaughter, sister, niece, nephew, and other family members and friends.
When it comes to work, Johnny
is no stranger. While working aboard the ship, he also maintains em- ployment with the Florida Sentinel Bulletin. He recalls working with the newspaper under the leadership of C. Blythe Andrews, C. Blythe An- drews, Jr. and now Sybil and
Blythe, Andrews, III. He was even named “News Boy of the Week” at one time.
