Buccaneers Become 1st Team Ever To Play SuperBowl In Home Stadium
Tom Brady Goes Through
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers will make NFL history after beating the Green Bay Packers 31-26 Sunday in the NFC Championship Game.
With Super Bowl LV set to take place at Tampa’s Ray- mond James Stadium, the Bucs will now become the first team in history to play for the Lombardi Trophy in their home stadium.
“So many teams don’t get a chance because they don’t get the Super Bowl in their stadium,” Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said after Sun- day’s win. “It was obviously the goal of ours to start the season, but getting to the Super Bowl wasn’t what our goal is. Our goal is to win it.”

When the Tampa Bay Buc- caneers blew out the Green Bay Packers 38-10 in Week 6, it was a dominant defensive performance that led the way, with four sacks and two inter-
For Another Super Bowl Run
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady holds the George Halas Trophy after defeating the Green Bay Packers in their NFL NFC Championship game at Lambeau Field.
Tom Brady is going to the Super Bowl for the 10th time in his 21-year NFL career, and he’s left a couple of fellow legends in his wake.
In the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, Brady bested Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints after get- ting swept by them in the reg- ular season. Brady and the Bucs didn’t turn the ball over a single time, while Brees was picked off three times in a 30- 20 win for Tampa Bay.
In Sunday’s NFC title game, Brady was a tale of two halves, throwing three touch- downs in the first half but three interceptions in the sec- ond half. Still, it was enough to beat Aaron Rodgers and the

Brees is expected to retire, while Rodgers’ future in Green Bay could be more in question than Packers fans would like to admit, especially considering they traded up for a quarterback in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.
ceptions against Aaron Rodgers.
It was a similar story in the NFC Championship Game, as the Bucs made life miserable for Rodgers yet again for much of Sunday’s 31-26 vic- tory.
Rodgers was sacked five times in this one, and was picked off at a critical juncture of the game, leading to a touchdown in the final mo- ments of the first half.
After the game, there was plenty of praise for the Tampa Bay defense, especially after

the way they finished their outing with key stops in the fourth quarter.
“I can’t say enough about them,” Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said. “They’ve been great in the fourth quar- ter all year and we got some great stops. Took a couple chances on offense and tried to get more points – it didn’t work out, but they came back and got the ball right back for us.”
Bucs quarterback Tom Brady concurred with Ari- ans, giving his defense the lion’s share of the credit for clinching their trip to the Super Bowl.
“Yeah, they played incred- ible,” Brady said. “I thought the defense was spectacular and they’ve been that way all year. They have a great front, great linebackers, [they] play their butts off in the second- ary. Some guys went down with injuries and other guys stepped in. It was an incredi- ble effort by the defense and what they did today was amazing against, really, an in- credible offense.”
Antonio Brown Has
Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers
  Reportedly Been Ordered To
Pay $100,000 To His Accuser
Antonio Brown may have been able to continue his NFL career, but his legal is- sues are still following him.
The Tampa Bay star has been ordered to pay Britney Taylor, a woman who ac- cused Brown of $100,000 for allegedly violating a confiden- tiality agreement. As expected, AB is already combating this ruling in newly filed legal doc- uments.
Tayor sued Brown in 2019 for allegedly sexually as- saulting her on multiple occa- sions—including rape in 2018. Following the accusations, Brown and Taylor entered a confidentiality agreement in hopes to stimulate settlement talks. Yet, Taylor claims that Brown violated their agree- ment multiple times since it was first established. As a re- sult, she asked an independent arbitrator to award her dam- ages.
At the same time the alle- gations were surfacing, Brown was going on a social media tear. Although most of his antics weren't directed to-

wards Taylor, he did mention his pending lawsuit and main- tained his innocent on these public forums. This allowed the arbitrator to pinpoint one time when Brown violated the agreement. The wide re- ceiver uploaded a screenshot of a direct message from a per- son talking to him about the case in 2019. This breach of the agreement prompted the arbitrator to order Brown to pay Taylor $100,000.
The news comes just days after Brown was ruled out of the Bucs NFC Championship against the Packers with a knee injury.
The Bucs expect to have Brown back in the lineup for Super Bowl LV.
