Coroner Lists Kim Porter’s Official Cause Of Death
Kanye West Reportedly Refuses To Release 'Yandhi' Over Label Dispute
Fans are finally learning the real reason behind the shock- ing death of Kim Porter, the former girlfriend of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The beloved actress, model and mother of three of Diddy’s children reportedly died of lobar pneumonia, the Los An- geles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner an- nounced Friday, Jan. 25, 2019. The manner of death has been certified as natural.
Porter and Diddy dated for about a decade up until 2007.
According to multiple media reports, Porter, who died at age 47, was suffering from flu- like symptoms for weeks lead- ing up to her death on Nov. 15, 2018, in her bedroom in subur-

ban Los Angeles. The Blast was able to obtain the coroner’s re- port, which said Porter’s bed- room contained bottles of water, sports drinks and Pedi- alyte on a nightstand, as well as a bowl of what appeared to be tomato soup.
Kanye West has been teas- ing Yandhi for months, but after multiple delays, the proj- ect has yet to materialize. Ac- cording to The Blast, the reason for the lag is due to a label dispute. Shortly after ‘Ye filed a lawsuit against Roc-A- Fella Records, his legal team set its sights on Def Jam Recordings and EMI.
The legal documents re- portedly take aim at Bravado merchandising and Island Def Jam, alleging both companies have been exploiting “one of the world’s most iconic, multi- faceted, and productive tal-

ents.”
The polarizing Hip Hop fig-
ure is asking a judge to free him from any obligations he
has to Def Jam, the label he’s been tied to for the past 17 years.
“Even if the contracts were not unfair (they are), even if their terms valued Mr. West’s contributions in line with the breathtaking success he has achieved for these com- panies (they do not) and even if the companies had not un- paid Mr. West what they owe him (they have), he would be entitled to be set free from its bonds,” the document read.
The G.O.O.D. Music master- mind is also asking for owner- ship of his master recordings.
Baby XXXTentacion Has Arrived
R. Kelly Reportedly Under FBI Investigation For Arranging Flight For Minor
Although XXXTENTA- CION’s life was cut tragically short, he left behind what his mother Cleopatra Bernard described as his “final gift.” Ac- cording to a press release, his baby boy Gekyume Onfroy was born on Saturday (Janu- ary 26).
“Cleopatra Bernard and Jenesis Sanchez are thrilled to announce the arrival of Gekyume Onfroy,” the statement read. “We’re happy to confirm that Baby and Mother are healthy. Gekyume’s name is derived from a word X created prior to his passing, which means ‘dif- ferent state’ or ‘next’ universe of thought.
“XXXTENTACION specifically chose this name for his first born son. His family is honored to fulfill his wish and shower baby Gekyume with love.”
According to an Instagram
Law enforcement officials around the country continue to look into R. Kelly’s past in the aftermath of the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series. According to TMZ, the FBI is investigating the controversial singer for ar- ranging a coast-to-coast trip for an underage girl.
Azriel Clary, one of the alleged victims featured in Lifetime’s explosive documen- tary, was reportedly flown from Phoenix to Orlando in May 2015. Clary was just 17 years old at the time, which has Kelly under scrutiny for pos- sibly violating the Mann Act.
The Mann Act is a federal

law against the transportation of a minor for the purposes of prostitution or “sexual activity for which any person can be
charged with a criminal of- fense.”
Sources connected to Clary’s family claim the flight was arranged by a woman who was serving as Kelly’s assis- tant. Sources in the Kelly camp argue he did nothing wrong because the assistant re- ceived a letter of consent from Clary’s mother.
TMZ obtained the letter, which is dated September 2015. Although the flight under investigation took place months before, Kelly’s team reportedly believes it shows Clary’s family was willing to let her travel.

video posted on Sanchez’s page, Gekyume — or Yume as they call him — didn’t come quickly.
“Texted Cleo,” the caption read. “Everyone seemed a bit tired but excited for the arrival of Jahseh’s & Jenesis son but Gekyume is taking his time.
C-Murder Denied Murder Retrial After Witnesses Recant Their Statements
Former No Limit Solider and brother of Master P, C- Murder has reportedly failed to convince a judge to throw out his 2002 murder convic- tion or retry the case.
According to The New Or- leans Advocate, Judge Steven Enright of 24th Judi- cial District Court made the decision on Wednesday (Janu- ary 23) after determining the recantations of two witnesses in the case weren’t credible.
C-Murder — who was con- victed in 2009 of fatally shoot- ing 16-year-old Steven Thomas at a nightclub in 2002 — didn’t meet the bur- den of proof for post-convic- tion relief. Attorney Paul Barker argued C-Murder’s

conviction should be tossed out, or at the very least, he should be granted a new hear- ing to argue the matter in court.
Despite Barker’s best ef-
forts, Enright wrote the re- cantations of previous testi- mony “are highly suspicious” and except in rare circum- stances “a new trial should not be granted on the basis of a re- cantation because it is tanta- mount to perjury so as to discredit the witness at a later trial.”
Talk of C-Murder’s high profile case started up again last June when the true-crime television series Reasonable Doubt did an episode on the much publicized case. During the show, two witnesses pro- vided interviews but ultimately changed their stories even though they filed sworn affi- davits on behalf of the incar- cerated rapper.
