6-Car Accident Leaves Taxi Passenger Dead

   A 40-year-old woman died in a traffic accident Sun- day. The accident took place on 49th Street, North in St. Pe- tersburg.
According to police, David Yancey, 47, was driv- ing a 2009 Ford Crown Victo- ria taxi southbound on 49th Street, North when he rear ended a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 78-year-old John McBey, of St. Peters- burg.
The Tahoe hit a 2017 Ford Escape, driven by 71-year-old Barbara Weber, whose ve- hicle then struck a 2017 Chevrolet SS, driven by 57- year-old Thomas Stewart. The Ford Escape was then pushed into a 2014 Kia Op-
tima, driven by 85-year-old Warren Chase. The Kia Optima was pushed into a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by 50-year-old Beth Johnson.
Heather Scozzaro was a passenger in the taxi. Ms. Scozzaro and Yancey suf- fered serious injuries and were transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where Ms. Scozzaro died.
Others received non-life threatening injuries. Police said Yancey and Ms. Scoz- zaro were not wearing seat- belts at the time of the accident and alcohol was a factor. The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.

A 61-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident Fri- day morning. The accident oc- curred at 17120 Gulf Blvd., in North Redington Beach.
According to police, 35- year-old Alex Lyons was driving his 2015 Dodge Dart southbound on Gulf Blvd., ap- proaching the Double Tree Re- sort.
Roger P. Galvin, of Great Britain was crossing Gulf Blvd., and not in a crosswalk. He was struck by the vehicle and died at Bayfront Hospital. The investigation is continu- ing.
Woman Killed In Traffic Accident Crossing U. S. 19
A 29-year-old woman died Sunday night after being in- volved in a traffic accident. The accident took place on U. S. 19 at Berkeley Manor Blvd.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, John Franklin Bost, 86, of Brooksville, was driving a 2013 Lincoln MKX approach- ing Berkeley Manor Blvd. Ms. Tiffany Pomroy, of Spring Hill, was walking across U. S. 19 and walked into the path of the vehicle. Ms. Pomroy was transported to Bayonet Point Hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
The investigation is contin- uing and charges are pending, police said.
The Tampa Police De- partment is still searching for an East Tampa woman who left her home three weeks ago. She has been missing from her residence since Jan- uary 8, 2019. Her family re- ported her missing on January 11, 2019.
According to police, Ms. Deborah Washington Saucier was last seen around 9 a.m in the 1200 block of E. 18th Avenue.
She is 62 years of age and is 5’3” tall. She weighs 200 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Ms. Saucier also has a scar on her left wrist. She also has a visible surgical scar on her left shoulder.
She was last seen wearing a brown cap, a dark colored top, and dark sweat pants. Ms. Saucier was last seen driving her vehicle. However, the vehicle was found aban- doned near Julian B. Lane Park, 1,000 block of N. Blvd., on Monday, January 14th. Her purse, ID, keys and cell phone were located inside the vehicle, police said.
A retired educator, Ms. Saucier left home without her medication and is con- sidered endangered.

all leads they have received. However, none of them have led them to the whereabouts of the mother and grand- mother.
Her family is very con- cerned and they are asking anyone with information pertaining to her where- abouts to contact the Tampa Police Department.
A Silver Alert has been is- sued for Ms. Saucier be- cause of her age, and her need for medication.

   Passenger Dies In Accident After Driver Loses Control
  A 37-year-old New Port Richey man died Sunday morning in a traffic accident. The accident took place at East Lake Road and Pasado Drive, in Pinellas County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Kyle Stevens Birdyshaw, 25, of New Port Richey, was driving a 2002 Ford Focus when for undetermined reasons he lost control of the vehicle.
Birdyshaw’s vehicle left the roadway and he over-cor- rected. The vehicle traveled
back across the roadway, en- tered the median, rotated, and collided with a light pole. It finally came to rest after striking a tree. Birdyshaw was transported to Mease Countryside Hospital in seri- ous condition.
His passenger, identified as Ruel Depante Ramos, was transported to Bayfront Point, where he died as a re- sult of his injuries.
The investigation is con- tinuing and charges are pend- ing.
