MS. YVONNE WATERS
Mrs. Yvonne Waters of Tampa, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020. Funeral services (FOR IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY) will be conducted Saturday, June 20 at 11 a. m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 4301 W. Cypress Street, with Reverend Frank Wat- son, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines.
Mrs. Yvonne Waters, affec- tionately known as “Duck” and “Preacher” to her family, was born the third child of Charlie and Bessie Jones. She was a native of New Port Richey, FL, and a resi- dent to Tampa for 66 years.
Yvonne graduated from Mid- dleton High School, Class of 1959. She was employed as a Food Serv- ice Cafeteria Assistant for the School District of Hillsborough County, retiring from Bellamy El- ementary School in 2001.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, David M. Waters, Jr.; her only daughter, Anquinette Waters-Coleman; grandson, Angel Waters; parents, Charlie and Bessie Jones; brothers, Clarence Jones and Charles E. Jones, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory: sons, Antinori Waters and Sebast- ian Waters, Sr., both of Tampa, FL; grandsons, Sebastian Waters, Jr. (Chelsea), Houston, TX, and Austin Waters, Tampa, FL; grand- daughters, Quinette Johnson, At- lanta, GA, Andeurha Waters, and Zamora Ellis-Waters, Tampa, FL; great grandchildren, Ky’lee Wa- ters, Arion Waters, Sebastian Wa- ters, III, Zoe Waters, and Knowledge Waters; sisters, Marva Hardy (Edward) Bradenton, FL, and Joyce McNeal (Willie), Tampa, FL; brothers, Wilbur Jones (Betty), Tampa, FL, Thomas Jones (Ruby), Atlanta, GA, and Anthione Jones, Tampa, FL; son- in-law, Willie Coleman; sister-in- law, Ethel Washington; special nephews, Jivaro, Tajar, Devin, Shawn and Rashida; special nieces, Kenya, April, Mandisa, Monica, Monica, Kimberly, Monoe, Marvette, and Christina; special cousin/brother, Malachi Jones (Deborah); special friends, Myrtle Lyons, Ann Moultry, and First Lady Diane Watson; her baby (Dog), Page “Pagie;” and a host of extended family and friends.

MS. HELENA SUZANNE (‘TWIGGY’) BROWN
Ms. Helena Suzanne Brown of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. There will be a public viewing from 8 – 10:30 a. m. on Saturday June 20, 2020, at New St. Matthew Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 1006 South 50th Street, Tampa, Florida. A PRIVATE SERVICE WILL FOL- LOW FOR ONLY THE FAMILY.
Ms. Helena Suzanne Brown, affectionately known at “Twiggy”, was born on June 10, 1968 to Willie and Helen Brown. She was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. Helena attended Tampa Bay Technical High School, graduating Class of 1986. She began her post-secondary ed- ucation at Hillsborough Commu- nity College and later she transferred to University of South Florida, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Information Management Sys- tems.
Helena was employed as a Staff Assistant at University of South Florida for the past 29 years. She was a faithful and de- voted member of New St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church and ZETA Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
She was preceded in death by: her aunt, mentor and sorority sis- ter, Carolyn P. Hill of Tampa, Florida.
Helena leaves to cherish memories of her with: beloved parents, Willie and Helen Brown; brother, Willie J. Brown; aunts, Claudette Akins (Arthur), Mattie Tisdell, Gena Lynn Brown and Loretta Brown all of Tampa, Florida; uncle, Melvin Brown (Janice) of Clayton, Alabama; nephew, Jonathan D. Brown of Tampa, Florida; special cousin, Annette Williams of Gainesville, Florida and a host of loving family and friends.

MISS VICTORIA IRINE CREED
A Private Homecoming Celebra- tion will be held for Miss Victoria Irine Creed, who passed on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
Miss Victoria Irine Creed was born February 25, 2003, to the parentage of Robert Creed, Jr. and Tikasha Herring.
She attended Hillsborough County Schools and was an upcom- ing senior at King High School, to be a part of the 2021 graduating class. Victoria enjoyed going to the mall and hanging with her friends.
Miss Creed’s dream after high school was to own her own business after graduating from college.
Miss Creed was preceded in death by: her grandfathers, Robert Creed, Sr., Yancey Pollock; and grandmother, Elaine Johnson.
She leaves to cherish fond mem- ories with: her parents, Robert Creed, Jr. and Tikasha Herring; step-father, Willie Brooks; grand- mothers, Kathy Bynum and Elouise Brooks; great grandmother, Jesse McAllister; brothers, Robert Q. A Private Homegoing Service will be held for Mrs. Pearline Evans who passed on June 10, 2020.
Mrs. Pearline Evans was born on April 1, 1933, in Gordon, Georgia to the parentage of Alonzo and Annie Whipple. Mrs. Pearline Evans was a resident of Tampa for several years after re- locating from Gordon, Georgia.
Mrs. Pearline Evans was pre- ceded in death by: her children, Shirley Woolcock, Willie D. Evans, Antonio Evans and Sharon L. Evans; brothers and sisters, Louise Evans, Herbert Whipple, Ruth E. Whipple, Larry Whipple, Al Whipple and son-in- law, Elijah D. Dukes, Sr.
Mrs. Evans is survived by: children, Barbara J. Evans and husband, Edward J. Adderly, Freddie L. Evans, Roy M. Evans and wife, Mary Evans, Phyllis D. Dukes and Alesia Evans; a host of grandchildren, great grand- children, great, great grandchil- dren; brothers, Rufus Whipple and Bobby Whipple; a host of great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.

MR. MARK ANTHONY RAINES
Mr. Mark Anthony Raines, 53, was born July 7, 1966, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Mary Raines and Robert Thornton, Sr. He resided in Lake Charles, Louisiana for the past 20 years. He attended Tampa Bay Tech High School.
Mark was a Chief Cook for Trinity Offshore Catering and Cash Magic Casino in Sulphur, LA.
He departed this life on Fri- day, April 3, 2020, in his resi- dence. I know he is reciting his poetry and cooking in Heaven.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Pamela Slaughter-Raines; daughter, Ka’Leigh A. Raines; 2 sons, Markus Raines and Anthony Raines; 2 sisters, Deidra Mc- Nulty (Sam) and Debra Lime- house; 2 brothers, Tony Christian and Robert Thornton, Jr. (Lisa); stepdaughter, Christalyn Seabron; stepfather, Johnnie Candis; mother-in-law, Carrie H. Slaughter; best friends, Milton Frank (Trey), Ramona Thornton, Papy, and Dexter. Mark had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved and adored.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Joe Raines; grandmothers, Bobbie and Pearlie Raines; and his mother and father.

The family of the late Evangelist Valarie Ellis, aka EVE, wishes to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our great loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbors, and well-wishers who attended her Memo- rial Service and provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.
