MR. DONALD ‘RECHE’ CALDWELL
Mr. Donald “Reche” Caldwell, Jr. of Tampa, passed away Satur- day, June 6th, 2020. A Celebra- tion of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 20th at 12 Noon at The Center For Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610, Apostle Mark T. Jones, Pastor with Reverend Dr. Rayford Harper, Pastor of First Baptist Church of West Tampa, officiating. Please follow the CDC guidelines.
Donald Reche Caldwell, Jr. was born to the loving parentage of Mr. and Mrs. Deborah and Donald Reche Caldwell, Sr., on March 28, 1979, in Tampa Florida. He accepted Christ at an early age. Reche was educated in the Hillsborough County School System and was a graduate of Jef- ferson High School in 1998.
He further matriculated to the University of Florida. When he at- tended Jefferson High School, he played not only football, but also basketball and baseball. As a jun- ior at Jefferson High School in 1996, he threw for 2,338 yards, and led the Dragons to the Class 5A state semifinal game. He earned the high school “All-Amer- ican” honors from Prep Star, and was named the Florida Class 5A Player of the Year, from 1998 to 2001, and he was a three-year let- terman.
Reche was drafted straight out of high school by the Cincinnati Reds, MLB in 2002, but he chose to follow his passion and attend the prestigious University of Florida and play college football. At the University of Florida, Reche was a member of the Florida Gators football team under Coach Steve Spurrier, from 1998-2001. His sophomore year in2000,hewasapartoftheUF SEC Champion team, and his jun- ior year, he was an honorable mention All-American and Sec- ond Team All-SEC selection. He was also a finalist for the Bilet- nikoff Award for the nation’s top receiver.
Donald Reche Jr. decided to forego his senior season to enter the 2002 NFL Draft, where he was selected the 48th overall pick in the second round by the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Chargers for the first four seasons of his career.
Reche signed with the New England Patriots in 2006. In 2007, he signed with theWashing- ton Redskins. In 2008, he signed a one-year contract with the St. Louis Rams. In 71 career games, Reche Caldwell NFL stats read 152 passes caught for 1,851 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
       Reche was the eldest of two sons. He affectionately called his younger brother, André, “Baby Brother,” who also was a profes- sional football player in the NFL for nine years. Reche was a doting father to his children. His daugh- ter Recheyla, who he referred to as his “GOAT” and his son, Cash- mere, as his Bright and Shining Star, “Baby Boy.”
He was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Deacon Arthur and Mrs. Marise Tolbert; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Otha Caldwell; uncle, William Walker; aunts, Elaine Caldwell, Debra Maylor, Doris Smith and Joyce Johns.

MISS MYKERIA SHANICE JACOBS
Mykeria Shanice Jacobs of Tampa passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 20 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiat- ing. Please follow the CDC guide- lines.
Mykeria was a native of Tampa, Florida, born to Lainere Williams and Michael Jacobs. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, where she attended Booker T. Washington El- ementary, Adams Middle School and Middleton High School. She would have been in the 11th grade this fall 2020.
Mykeria was an active member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Youth Auxiliary, where she held the Secretary position of the Phi Teens. She had attended the 2018 National Conference in Detroit, Michigan and won 2nd place along with member (Anttiniya White) during their talent competition. Mykeria was an active member of the ROTC program and had plans to join the Air Force. Mykeria’s past time was dancing and cosme- tology.

Mr. Willie J. Latson, Sr. of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Habana Health Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 20 at 2p.m.atMountOliveA.M.E. Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, with Reverend Gregory Gay, Sr., Pastor, officiating. Please follow the CDC guidelines.
Mr. Willie J. Latson was a na- tive of Tampa, Florida and resi- dent of Hillsborough County for 60 years. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1960. Willie lived in Ocean City, Maryland and Denver, Colorado for several years prior to returning to his hometown in Tampa, Florida. Along with other trades, Willie especially enjoyed his career as a Bartender at Den- ver International Airport. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Jessie and Flossie Latson; sisters, Minnie P. Latson and Shirley Ross; and brother, Jessie D. Latson.
He leaves cherished and loving memories in the hearts of his lov- ing family: his two sons, Cedric J. Latson and Willie J. Latson, Jr.; devoted sisters, LaVerneLatson, Rosalyn McGill, Sandra Norman, Deborah Lymon, Kelly Williams and Stephanie Carmichael; brother, Robbie Latson; aunt, Mary Latson; and a host of grand- children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and de- voted friends.

Mr. Alfonso Anthony Lee was a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, born to Clifford Lee, Sr. and Betty Jean Lee. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was em- ployed at Gardiner Chemical Plant and TECO.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Clifford Lee, Sr. and Betty Jean Lee; wife, Linda Parker Lee; sisters, Dorothy Dross, Thelma Hill and brother, Edward Graddy.
