Stepping Into the Political Arena
Debra Wright of Lakeland has stepped into the Florida po- litical arena. A Democrat, Wright will run against Re- publican Kelli Stargel for the Florida Senate-District 22. There has been a redistricting of Stargel’s current District 15. The new District 22 includes: Davenport, Dundee, Eagle
Lake, Haines City, Lake Alfred, Lake Hamilton, Lakeland, Polk City, and southern Lake County.

Congratulations to the nine- teen women who were nomi- nated for the 2016 Girls Incorporated of Lakeland’s She Knows Where She’s Going Awards. Celebrating Two
In 2014, Kaleb Williams and La’Riyah Annisia- Elaine Coleman were born. Each of them had their own
little ‘unique special birth memories’ which were similar yet different. In 2016, each of these tiny tots celebrated being two, Kaleb on May 1st and La’Riyah on May 19th.
Kaleb is the son of Everett Williams Jr. and Marissa Landers- Williams.
La’Riyah is the daughter of Larry Coleman, II and Jordaeshia Green-Cole- man. Happy 2nd Birthday, Kaleb and La’Riyah!
