‘The Last O.G.’ Starring Tracy Morgan & Tiffany Haddish Renewed For Season 3 By TBS
Keanu Reeves And Halle Berry Keep Up The Intense Pace In ‘John Wick: Chapter 3, Parabellum;’ Opens This Friday
Parabellum means “prepare for war”—and war is what you get in the third installment of the John Wick franchise. This action-packed, balls-to- the-wall pistol opera doesn’t give the audience a moment to breathe.
Seriously, if you dare to blink, you might miss a bullet or a kick to the face. Director Chad Stahelski understands how to shoot, stage, and frame fight choreography, and that has everything to do with him being a former stuntman. Partnered with Keanu Reeves, the reigning king of action cinema, and returning screenwriter Derek Kolstad (who co-wrote this install- ment with Shay Hatten, Chris Collins, and Marc Abrams), Stahelski deliv- ers, upping the ante by widen- ing the scope of the assassins network, in addition to em- phasizing how the conse- quences of Wick’s actions from John Wick: Chapter 2 have rippled around the world.

excommunicated assassin with a $14 million bounty on his head. This is the result of breaking the rules by killing a member of the high table in the Continental (a hotel that’s considered assassin neutral ground). Now he’s running amok in New York, looking for sanctuary and still trying to avoid being murdered. That’s a hard task in a city rife with trained killers looking to take him down and win the ran- som.
With the entrance of the Adjudicator, the audience is also introduced to the ex- panded John Wick universe
where we find out more about his past and the hierarchy of the high table. Always one step ahead of everyone else, Wick outruns the high table into the house of Sofia (Halle Berry), who is head of the Continental in Morocco. She isn’t happy about their re- union, but then later decides to help him after he calls in a debt. What ensues is complete madness as Wick aims to get back in favor with members of the high table and kill anyone who gets in his way. This ac- tion film was rated 95% by rotten tomatoes and opens in theaters Friday.
 TRACY MORGAN AND TIFFANY HADDISH
TBS has picked up a third season of comedy series The Last O.G., starring Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Had- dish.
Co-created and executive- produced by Oscar winner Jordan Peele, The Last O.G. launched as cable’s #1 new comedy in 2018 and the high- est rated cable comedy debut since 2015. The show contin- ues to be a ratings success in its second season, now rank- ing as cable’s #1 sitcom and reaching a multiplatform au- dience of 23 million viewers so far.
“The Last O.G. is very mean- ingful to me and I am blessed to get to work with my family for another season,” said Morgan. “We are going to go to a whole other level this year. JUST WAIT.”
Season two of The Last O.G. saw Morgan’s character Tray going all in on his dreams of becoming a chef, and Tray’s ex-girlfriend Shay (Haddish) collaborating with an unlikely business part- ner.
Morgan and Haddish will return for the third season, as well as series regulars Ryan Gaul, Allen Maldonado, Taylor Mosby and Dante Hoagland.
“We are so proud of The Last O.G.’s continued suc- cess,” said Brett Weitz, gen- eral manager of TBS and TNT. “This hilarious and heartfelt show has connected with fans and we couldn’t be more grateful for the big laughs that Tracy and the O.G. gang de- liver each week.”
Chance The Rapper Calls Michael Jackson The Role Model For His Philanthropy
In a new interview with Forbes magazine, Chance The Rapper called late pop music pioneer Michael Jackson his “role model” when it comes to philan- thropy while discussing the WE Day youth empowerment event he participated in re- cently, as well as the obliga- tion of rappers to give back to the communities they come from. The event saw Chance speak in front of 16,000 stu- dents from 475 California schools at the Forum in LA.
When asked who he’d like to have seen speak at this school as a teen, his answers ran pretty straightforward: Kanye West and Drake. He also pointed out the dif- ferences in the modern gen- eration of kids who learn about social issues much more readily on the internet as opposed to older genera- tions, who may not have had access to the same informa-

tion, and how he tailors his approach to different audi- ences when addressing kids about social issues.
Chance revealed that while he doesn’t think musi- cal artists have any more of a responsibility to give back than dentists or lawyers (“I
don’t believe anybody has a right to tell anybody that makes music what they should spend their money on once they make it.”), he feels personally obligated due to his role model, Michael Jackson:
The greatest of all time ... most philanthropic musician is Michael Joseph Jack- son. I think he donated over $600 million to charities and more afterwards... The only person I can really think of off the top when I think of charity that’s a musician is Michael Jackson. That’s how I’ve always thought about it cause most of the people that I grew up listen- ing to were hip-hop artists and I don’t really remember there being a lot of...Ye gave back to the people, but it was in a very different way. It was always through his music. I can’t really think of anybody else.”
