RAY WILLIAMS
MRS. ETHEL MAE HOWARD
Mrs. Ethel Mae Howard of Tampa passed away Wednes- day, November 6, 2019. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, November 16 at 11 a. m. at Mt. Tabor M. B. Church, 2606 W. Grace St., with Pastor T. D. Leonard, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Ethel Mae Howard was born and raised in Leslie, Geor- gia and moved to Tampa in 1942 as a young adult. In 1943, she joined Mt. Tabor M. B. Church and was a loving, faithful mem- ber for over 76 years. She served in the Choir #2 Ministry, President of the General Mis- sion Ministry, Senior Women President of Congress #2 and also taught the Women’s #2 Sunday School Class, the Women’s Baptist Training Union Class and was an Advi- sor/Teacher to the Junior Women’s Ministry as well as the Women Intermediate Ministry.
Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by: her husband, Mr. Lee Howard; son, Mr. Ruben Howard; granddaughters, Joyce Howard and Barbara Howard; and niece, Ilene Hud- son.
She leaves loving and de- voted memories to: her sister, Clara Bell Thomas of Leslie, GA, granddaughters, Carolyn Lev- enson (Daniel) and Doris Howard; great grands, Jerry, Jr. (Carla), Timothy, Janae’, Jonathan, Jackie, Jr., Joyce, Cedenia, Jaela, and Jeremy; nu- merous nieces and nephews, among whom are: Theodore Leeks, Jr., Dorothy Spiller of Tampa, Leroy Thomas (Debo- rah), Eddie Thomas (Velma), Alice Reddick (Ned), Betty Day (Roger), Ethel Franklin, Car- olyn Whitehead, Willis Thomas, from Leslie, GA, Ronald, Crystal, Kim, Adrian, Devon, Terry, Eugene, Demetrise, (Tampa) Joann and Willie Green of Miami, FL, Mae Frances Strickland and family, as well as many cousins and family, and her Mt. Tabor Fam- ily. Special recognitions to the following families, Kathy Miller, Tammy Austin, Chunn, Turpin, Ennis, Alexander, Fer- derigos, Hewit, Rauenhorst and the Bayshore Pointe Adminis- tration and Staff.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, November 15 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MRS. MERCEDES TWIGGS REDDICK
Mrs. Mercedes Twiggs Red- dick, 81, of Tampa, passed away, surrounded by family on Thurs- day, November 7, 2019. Celebra- tion of Life will be held Saturday, November 16, at 11 a. m. at Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 3910 W. Laurel St., Tampa, Florida, 33607, with Pastor Dwayne E. Sanders, Sr., officiating and Pastor Wallace Z. Bowers, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery, 4615 East Hanna Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610.
Mrs. Mercedes Twiggs Red- dick was born in Tampa, Florida, where she attended Hillsbor- ough County Schools. Mrs. Red- dick was well-known throughout the Tampa Bay Community as a talented hairstylist. She later pursued a career in nursing, re- tiring from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Reddick was preceded in death by: her late husband, Mr. Wilmon Reddick, Sr., and daughter, the late Thalia G. Red- dick.
Mrs. Reddick is survived by: her loving and devoted children, Valerie (Robert, III) Ayer, Wilmon, Jr. (Lucy) Reddick, Sybil Reddick, Althea Reddick and Keith Reddick; 11 grandchil- dren and 12 great-grandchil- dren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

MR. MELDON HINSON
Mr. Meldon Hinson of Hin- son, Florida, passed away on No- vember 4, 2019. A viewing service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019, from 6-8 p. m. at Faith Temple Primitive Baptist Church in Plant City, FL. Burial in Glades Cemetery, Ha- vana, Florida.
Mr. Hinson was a native of Hinson, Florida, and a resident of Plant City for several years.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Bertrey and Josephine Hinson; 2 children, Jeanette and Aaron Hinson; and brother, Cornell Hinson.
He leaves to cherish the fond memories: children, Calvin Hin- son, Zanette Hinson, Melvin Hinson and Karen Barrett; sib- lings, Robert Lee Hinson, Geneva Jackson (Albert Jackson – deceased), Theodore Hinson (Zelinda Hinson – deceased), Abraham and Evonne Hinson, James and Barbara Hinson, Irene Wright, Josie London, Willie and Denise Hinson, William and Jeanette Hinson, Fernando Hinson, Annette and James Hunter, Marius Hinson and Shadricka Hinson; grands and great-grands; a host of nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

MR. TAVARES LOTHARIO ANDERSON, II
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Tavares Lothario Anderson, II, will be held on Saturday, No- vember 16, 2019 at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Tampa, Florida, with Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pas- tor, with Rev. Dewayne Sanders, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue, Tampa, Florida 33610.
Tavares Lothario Anderson, II, departed this world unexpect- edly on Sunday, November 3, 2019. Tavares was born in Tampa, on July 17, 1979 to Tavares, Sr. and Bonnie Ander- son. He was the youngest of their three children.
He attended schools in Hills- borough County, where he re- ceived his general education diploma. Tavares was a dedi- cated father first and foremost. He treasured his children and embraced every moment he had with them.
Tavares was an equally dedi- cated brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He had a personality that was unmatched, and wit that was sure to make you smile no mat- ter what you may have been going through. His heart was pure, and his actions reflected that.
Tavares was a hard worker who was employed with Infor for
the past 12 years as a Product Support Analyst, serving the company honorably and with much compassion throughout his tenure there. He had a fol- lowing of customers who loved working directly with him and he was well respected and loved amongst his peers.
Tavares was preceded in death by: his parents, Tavares and Bonnie Anderson.
Tavares leaves his memories to be cherished by: his two sons, Tavares Lothario Anderson, III and Landen Joel Anderson of Tampa; sisters, Yolanda (Lester) Best, Yomika (Eric) Hamilton; sisters in love, Do- minique Amos of Tampa, and Kelli Williams of Georgia; nieces, Kiaira Presley, JaNae Durham, Rebecca Willabus, Kiara Best, Rhiyan Best, Kayla Baker; nephews, Jamal Willing- ham, D’Angelo Best, Jovan’ee- Leo (Jessica) Anderson, LeTrell Anderson, Mario Harrison, Karrington Best, Jachai and Josiah DeJesus; aunts, Thelma Anderson-Singleton, Tampa, Marjorie (Ernest) Stephens, Jacksonville, Ava Lynda Moorer of Arizona, Joan Stone of Geor- gia, Sharon (Daniel) Hagin and Mary Anne (Louis) Corbett, Tampa; uncles, Clayton Jr. (Wynie) Anderson of Tampa, Carl Anderson, Zephyrhills, Preston Anderson and Dwight (Earitha) Anderson, Jack- sonville, Kevin Anderson, Gainesville, Reginald Anderson, Arizona and Timothy (Renee) Crowe, Georgia; a plethora of cousins, each of whom he loved dearly and one of which he shared a close bond, Clavaughn Moorer; the duo often referred to as “Pete & Repeat.” Tavares had a loving extended family as well, grandmother, Ruth Ander- son Hires; uncles, William Ford, Thomas Brown, Gary (Jerry) Brown, James Brown, Richard (Cynthia) Brown; aunts, Sandra (Lesley) Jackson and Bonnie Brown and the en- tire Brown family. Friends – Tavares never met a stranger, everyone was important and considered a friend; however, Essence, Alexa, Trenelle, Lla- lando, Mickey, Steve, Jose, and DeAngelo were more than just friends, they were “Framily.”
There will be a viewing on Friday, November 15, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from5–8p.m.Friendsare asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approximately 1:45 p. m. for the service.
