AIKENS
MR. CARL STEPHEN BROWN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Carl Stephen Brown who passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 will be held Saturday, March 10th, 2:30 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Tampa, Florida, Pastor Gregory A. Whaley, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Carl Brown was born on Oc- tober 21, 1963 to Mary Rumph and the late George Brown, Jr. in Tampa, Florida. He attended Chamberlain High School. He was employed at Scrap All Metal Company. His disabilities re- quired him to retire early. Carl loved his family and friends and he enjoyed working on cars and fishing.
Carl was preceded in death by: his father; brother, Joseph Brown; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Lemons and Mrs. Lizzie Brown; and several aunts and uncles.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his mother, Mary Rumph; sisters, Linda Johnson (Bobby) and Sylvia Merritt (Jimmy); broth- ers, Cornell Cooper (Cosandra) and Aaron Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends; a spe- cial thanks to his sister and care- giver for 3-1⁄2 years, Sylvia.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March9thfrom5to7p.m.The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

MR. ERNEST COLLINS, JR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Ernest Collins, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away Monday, February 26, 2018, will be held Saturday, March 10th, 10 a. m. at First Bap- tist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Dr. Samuel L. Maxwell, Senior Pastor, offici- ating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Born Ernest Collins, Jr. on July 30, 1928 to Ernest and Arie Goldwire Collins, in Quincy, Florida, he was the second of a sibling group of five. His siblings were Woodrow Wilson, Mary Collins Shaw (Otto Shaw), Jimmy Collins and Willie C. Collins; all of whom preceded him in death.
Growing up in Quincy, he at- tended the public schools of Gadsden County. Reared in a loving, Christian home in St. John Community, he attended St. John A. M. E. Church, where he came to know the Lord as his personal Savior.
He moved to Tampa, Florida, where he met the love of his life, Luella Delores White. They were united in holy matrimony, with heart-felt love which lasted 60 years, until her demise, last No- vember. Added to this union were five children, Larry, Ernest, Lawrence, Linda and Carolyn. Providing a good home and family connections were im- portant to him. He was also a
real neighbor and a good friend, who knew no strangers. He joined The First Baptist Church of Progress Village, along with his wife, where he continued to serve faithfully. He had a deep abiding love for God and for peo- ple. He was a strong, committed and dedicated man who didn’t mind lending a helping hand. He was blessed with multiple tal- ents as a mechanic, builder, and concrete finisher, amongst many other gifts. He was employed for many years as a concrete fin- isher, from which he retired.
In his off-time he enjoyed very much the sport of fishing and the gifts of mechanics and gardening. He answered the ce- lestial call of God, departing this world and heading for his heav- enly home; now resting in glory from labor to reward.
He leaves to cherish his lov- ing memories: five children, Ernest Collins, Larry Collins, Lawrence White (Jimmy), Linda Gordon Carley, and Carolyn Gordon Shine Bryant; one daughter-in-law, Marianna Collins; twelve grandchildren, Lovi T. Collins, Lynn Hernandez- Gordon, Vonda Carley, Louis Noguera, Robin White, Terron Shine, Chris Bryant, Jennifer White, Chenard (Speedy) Bryant, Louise Rodriguez, Lete- cia Collins and Lauren Collins; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; six sisters-in-law, Annette Collins, Ineatha Roberts, Minnie Kemp, Laura Collins, Lucy Collins and Loretta Brooks; one brother-in- law, Olester White; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at the church on Friday, March 9th from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet the church on Sat- urday for the service.

A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Michelle Dennison of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018, will be held on Saturday, March 10th, 3:30 p. m. at North- side M. B. Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, pastor, with Pastor Wallace Z. Bowers of Saint Mary M. B. Church, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Michelle D. Dennison was born on September 16, 1962 to the parentage of Mr. Herman Martin and Maggie J. Seay in Tampa, Florida. She attended public schools in Hillsborough County. God called home His Angel, Michelle D. Dennison on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 6:24 p. m.
Michelle D. Dennison was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Charlie (Mary) Seay, Mable Seay; paternal grandparents: Edward and Erma Lee Martin; sisters, Tara Dennison-Wallace and Harold- lyn Knowles-Tim; aunt, Mattie Jane Moore; uncles, Jim Dou- glas and Charles Seay; nephew, Ricky Bradford; cousins, Jimmy Seay and Jamie Helms.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: 2 daughters, Genquetta Smith and Nakeshia Smith (Tony); son, John Roberson (Pereg- rina); special daughter, Karima Altidor; mother, Mag- gie J.        MRS. LILLIE MAE ‘BAY HONEY’ BLACK
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Lillie Mae “Bay Honey” Black of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, Febru- ary 27, 2018, will be held Satur- day, March 10th, 2:30 p. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th St., Rev. S. Evan Burrows, pastor; Elder Willis Crum, Jr., officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lillie Mae Black at- tended school in Prattville, Ala- bama before relocating to Thonotosassa, FL. Her employ- ment includes domestic work for Sheraton Hotel in Tampa for over 20 years, server at popular venues in Ybor City, including the Cuban Cafe on 7th Avenue.
Lillie Mae Black was a long- time member of Greater Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to good old-fashion gospel hymns. Lillie Mae Black was a fashionista in her day and was known for her beautiful smile and fun-spirited disposition. She enjoyed fash- ions, dressing up, make-up and going to the movies and beaches.
When she retired from the domestic industry, she enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and helping others and praising God for his grace and mercy. She was a cheerful person, full of life and fun, and always put a smile on a face.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, the late Tom and Lillie Howard Stewart; sib- lings, Luvenia Stewart Alexan- der, Mack and Lewis Stewart.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her daughters, Janet B. Smith, Dar- lene B. Paulk (James) and Kay Black-Crum; grandchildren, Leroy Wilson, Jr. of Lakeland, FL, Navarra Jackson, Marice M. Wilson, Hebert Baker, Jr. (Wanda), Jermaine Crum (Brenda), Tameka Suttle (Mar- cus, Jr.) and Selina Crum; great- grandchildren, Tiana Wilson, Ymani K. Wilson of Lakeland, FL, Naji Baker, Marice M.
