Ant Man - Director Pey- ton Reed amazingly directed this new and fresh Marvel movie about a cat burglar Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale with super strength, speed and being able to communicate with the ants. Lang must join forces with Dr. Hang Pym (Michael Douglas) and his daughter, Holly (Evangeline Lilly-The Hobbit) to fight against Dar- ren Cross (Corey Stoll) to save the world. Nice fight scene between the Ant Man and Avengers Falcon (An- thony Mackie). Michael Pena and T. I. also star. With the mixture of comedy and ac- tion, Ant Man is definitely better than Avengers 2 and a MUST-SEE. Catch it in 3D or IMAX. No. 1 at box office. Made $57M. ****
Minions - Minions Stu- art, Kevin, and Bob (speaking a combination of French and English) set out on a journey to find a new boss who they are accidently disposing of. They are recruited by Scarlet Over Kill, a super villain (voiced by Sandra Bullock) to
take over the world. Kids and adults will enjoy this fast paced animation. Made $215M. (budget N/A). ****
Ted 2 - Newlywed couple Ted (voiced, written and di- rected by Seth McFarlane) and Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth) wants to have a baby, but Ted must prove he’s a person in court. His best friend John (Mark Wahlberg) will help Ted find a sperm donor and try to win the case in court. This movie was funnier than the first, which was way over the top, despite being a blockbuster at the box office. Morgan Freeman and Amanda Seyfried also star. Enjoyed it. Made $77M. (Budget N/A). ****
Terminator Genisys - John Connor (Jason Clarke) sends Kyle Reese (Jai Cour- ney) back in time (1984) to protect his mom, a younger Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) from a futuristic ter- minator. When Reese gets there, he realizes Sarah is being protected by an older terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger). Terrible acting by the younger Sarah,
same old terminators. aver- age script, and Schwarzeneg- ger needs to let the Terminator franchise go. Wait for it on DVD. Made $80M. (Budget N/A). **
Jurassic World - 22 years after the failure of Jurassic Park, a new park is created called Jurassic World. After 10 years of de- clining sales, the owner and management (Bryce Dallas Howard) decides to manu- facture a smart and vicious dinosaur to create interest. The whole plan backfires horribly and the director con- vinces a dinosaur trainer (Chris Pratt-Guardians Of the Galaxy) to help find her missing nephews. The first Jurassic Park was a classic, but this film was still fun to watch. Jurassic World has the biggest Global Opening of All-Time taking in $511M. In the U. S. Jurassic World beat out the Avenger: Age Of Ul- tron as the biggest opening weekend this year. Made $611M U. S. / Foreign $902M. Must see for action fans. ****
Inside Out - Pixar (Toy Story, Finding Nemo) scores again! After young Riley (voiced by Kaitlyn Dias) moves to San Francisco, her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - con- flict on how best to navigate a new house, city and school. Kids and adults will enjoy this animation. Made $306M. (Budget N/A). ****
Dope - Life changes in the tough neighborhood for com- puter geek Malcolm (Shameik Moore), when he and friends go to an under- ground party that leads to a crazy adventure throughout Los Angeles. Surprisingly, this film was really good. It had drama, romance and comedy. Produced by Sean Combs, Pharrell Williams and Forrest Whitaker. Must- see! Made $16M. (Budget N/A). ****
Spy - A CIA analyst (Melissa McCarthy) volun- teers to go undercover to in- filtrate the brutal world of a deadly arms dealer (Rose Byrne) and prevent a nuclear disaster. Jason Statham and McCarthy make a hilarious team in this action/comedy. Enjoyed it! Made $106M. (Budget N/A). ****
Insidious: Chapter 3 - A psychic, Elisa Rainer (Lin Shaye) reluctantly uses her ability to contact the dead in order to save a teenage girl (Stephanie Scott), who has been targeted by an evil en- tity. The first film was a hor- ror classic, but this third installment was also creepy and disturbing. If you live alone, you might want to skip this one. Definitely, not for kids. Made $51M. (Budget N/A). ****
