Man Wanted For Theft Of Cigarettes

Man Wanted For Using Stolen Debit Card
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a man who al- legedly took two cartons of cigarettes. The theft took place last Wednesday.
According to police, a Black man, approximately 27-years-of age entered the 7-11 Store, 5522 N. Waters Avenue, shortly before 11 p.m. He asked the clerk for two cartons of Newport Ciga- rettes. The clerk placed the cigarettes on the counter, un- attended.

Police are currently searching for a man who al- legedly used a debit card stolen during the burglary of a vehicle. The burglary took place on the morning of Sep- tember 22nd.
According to police, the vehicle was in the parking lot of the University Lake Apart- ments, 14200 Bruce B Downs Blvd., when it was broken into. After gaining entry into the vehicle, the suspect took the victim’s iPhone 6s and wallet which contained several credit cards.

reportedly drove away from the store in a dark colored SUV.
The cigarettes were val- ued at $115.46.
Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice are currently investigating the death of a 37-year-old man. The death took place Friday night.
According to police, Juan Carlos Arenas, of Tampa, became engaged in an alterca- tion with an unidentified man while at 1819 French Creek Road. At some point during the altercation, Arenas was shot once. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No one has been charged in the shooting and police are in contact with everyone in- volved in the incident. The in- vestigation into the shooting is continuing.

Shooting
Stabbing Victim Dies At Hospital
A 50-year-old man died at a local hospital from injuries he sustained. He was stabbed during an altercation with another man.
Officers of the St. Peters- burg Police Department re- sponded to the 600 block of 28th Avenue, South, in refer- ence to the stabbing shortly before 6 p.m., Saturday. When officers arrived, they discovered that Adrian Demetrious Johnson had been stabbed during an argu- ment with 39-year-old Way- man Swilley.
During the argument, Swilley allegedly stabbed Johnson. Johnson was transported to Bayfront Hos-

pital, where he died as a re- sult of his injury.
Swilley stayed at the scene and was reportedly co- operating with police. The in- vestigation is continuing and no charges have been filed in the case.

Teenager Charged With Shooting Woman
A 17-year-old was ar- rested at his apartment Fri- day afternoon. He is charged with shooting a woman in the face last week.
According to police, Ms. Brianna Goble, 18, was walking in the Spring Haven Apartments, in Spring Hill, when she was shot.
Ms. Goble was airlifted to a local hospital, where she was admitted. At last report, she was in stable condition.
Police quickly identified the alleged suspect as Chris- tian Rakewon Fitzgerald, a resident of the same apart- ment complex. Fitzgerald allegedly fled the scene after the shooting.

tody less than 24 hours after the shooting. Police arrested him at his home shortly after 4 p.m. without incident.
Police did not release any additional information about what led to the shooting.
