MR. WILLIE JAMES “DADDY,” NEWSON
MS. ONIKA MONIQUE RIOLAND January 27, 1972 – September 3, 2015
The family will hold a grave- side celebration of life for Ms. Onika Monique Rioland on Fri- day, September 18, 2015, at 1 p. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, 33610.
Ms. Onika Monique Rioland was the daughter of Lewis and Priscilla Rioland. She was born on January 2, 1972, in Tampa. She was the youngest daughter of 4 siblings.
Onika attended Armwood High School and after gradua- tion, she attended Hillsborough Community College.
She then joined the United States Navy. Once she exited the Navy, she worked to support her 6 beautiful children, Tyree Figgins (19), Tyler Johnson (15), Lanika Johnson (13), Christian Johnson (10), and a set of twins, Destine Johnson and Faith Johnson (9).
Onika was a loving daughter and sister.
Onika leaves behind to cher- ish her fond memories: her 4 sons, Tyree, Tyler, Christian and Destin, her two daughters, Lanika and Faith), Tampa; her loving and devoted mother, Priscilla Rioland; a loving and devoted father, Lewis Rioland, Sr. (Tampa); 2 devoted sisters, Patrice Smith (Tampa), and Pamela Rioland (Orlando, FL); a loving and devoted brother, Lewis Rioland, Jr. (Tampa); nieces, Daisha Smith, Danielle Smith (Tampa), Chloe Bey (Or- lando, FL), and La’Nijah Lailoni Rioland (any day now); 3 nephews, Davis Smith, Jr., Devin Smith (Tampa), and Rashad Guy (Orlando, FL); she also leaves a host of cousins; and aunt, Joan Walker.
A deceased aunt, Cynthia Burr; and uncle, Bobby Cum- mings, whom preceded her in death.
A FALLEN LIMB
A limb has fallen from the family three, I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me. Remember the best time, the laughter, the song, the good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you, keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.”

MR. LYNWOOD BRUCE GRADDY
A celebration of life memo- rial service for Mr. Lynwood Bruce Graddy will be held Fri- day, September 18, 2015, at 2 p. m. at New Harmony Mission- ary Baptist Church, and spon- sored by Lighthouse Forever Free Mission, Inc., 2811 N. 17th Street, Tampa, with Pastors Dave and Bernadette Corey, of- ficiating.
Mr. Lynwood Bruce Graddy of Tampa, went home to be with the Lord suddenly on Sat- urday evening, August 29, 2015.
He was born in Tampa, to the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Gertha Rene Graddy, Sr., on January 15, 1954. Mr. Graddy gave his life to the Lord and attended several churches and ministries in the Tampa Bay area including Lighthouse Forever Free Mission, Inc., 29th Street Church of Christ and Saint Luke African Methodist Church.
Mr. Graddy grew up in Ybor City and attended schools in Hillsborough County including College Hill Elementary School, V. M. Ybor Elementary School, Booker T. Washington Junior High School and Mid- dleton Senior High School. He was a licensed welder with Honeywell and Tampa Electric Company, as well as, being em- ployed with Gardinier Phos- phates.
Preceding him in death was his older brother, the late Mr. William “Flea” Graddy, Jr.; and his father and mother, the late Mr. William and Mrs. Gertha Rene Graddy, Sr.
He leaves to celebrate his life: a daughter, Ms. Melanie Kastl and husband, Philip (“Ab”) of Pomona, CA; a son, Mr. Trenton Graddy, Sr. and wife, Rebecca of Sacramento, CA; three brothers, Mr. Solomon Michael Graddy of Tampa, Pastor Marcus Regi- nald Graddy of Upper Marl- boro, MD, and Mr. Eddie Leon
(“Bubba”) Graddy of Tampa; sister, Ms. Stephania R. Mr. Willie James “Daddy,” Newson, 86, went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2015.
He was born on October 1, 1926, in Abbeville, Alabama, to Saul and Pinkie Bell Newson. He was educated in Dothan, Al- abama
Willie James served his country in the Korean War, and received an honorable dis- charge on March 25, 1957.
On May 14, 1953 Willie James was joined in holy mat- rimony to Mary Lou Forrester in Dothan, Alabama. Two chil- dren were born of this union, Michelle Newson Miles and Paula Newson Collins.
Willie James was a devoted husband, father and Christian. He was an excellent example of what a man, father and hus- band should be. He had a work ethic to be admired and fol- lowed. He was a trustee and Deacon for many years until he and his wife moved from Cleve- land, Ohio, to Florida in 2012.
Anyone that knew Willie James knew he loved his family.
Willie James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Lou on August 1, 2015.
He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Michelle Newson Miles (Adonis), and Paula Newson Collins (Mark, deceased); brother, Samuel Newson; grandson, Erich M. Newson (Nicole); goddaughter, May A. Warren; granddaugh- ters, Kristi and Kimberly; great grandchildren, Asia, Aspen and Austin; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:15-11:00 a. m. followed by a service at 11 a. m., Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Both will be at the Bible-Based Fellow- ship Church, 4811 Ehrlich Rd., Tampa, 33624. Interment will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery.
