In 1952, he was united in holy matrimony to Lear J. Thigpen. C. J. was a Brewing Engineer with Anheuser-Busch for over 36 years. He was one of the first black male brewers.
There will be a viewing on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 5-8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, with the fam- ily present to receive friends from6–7p.m.inthechapel.

Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Carolyn Y. Johnson who went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2 p. m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. W. D. Sims, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by: her daughter, San- dra Ross; son, Ronnie Griffin and grandson, Alfonso McCray.

A native of Tampa, Florida, Ms. Johnson was born on March 13, 1939 to the parentage of Lahandrow and Lillian Mc- Cray. She was a housewife.

Mr. Youngblood was born De- cember 26, 1920 to Leon and Vio- let Youngblood in Rochelle, Georgia. Rubin attended public school in Dooley County, Geor- gia. He married his wife, Annie Mae Youngblood on June 30, 1940. To this union six children were born. He retired from Cargill Phosphate after 25 years. He loved spending time with fam- ily and friends, watching televi- sion, and also working on vehicles.
When his health was good he enjoyed smoking his cigars. He also was a faithful and dedicated church member of Greater Geth- semane Tabernacle.

On May 26, 2017, C. J. an- swered the loving call from his Lord to cross the tumultuous toils of this earthly life, to enter the triumph of His eternal dwelling.

Mr. Newton was born on Jan- uary 16, 1999 to the parentage of Glenn and Pamela Newton in St. Croix, Virgin Island. He was the smallest of the fab five. Mr. New- ton attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and he was a student at King High School. Zachary was a volunteer at the MOSI Museum for five years. He was affectionately known as “Big Country” amongst family because of his love for the outdoors. He also enjoyed hik- ing, kayaking, walking on nature trails, camping, exploring, play- ing football and more than any- thing he loved his family. Zachary was a member of the King High School football team.
