MR. COLEMAN BEAMON, JR.
Mr. Coleman Beamon, Jr. of Tampa passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, June 5, 2017, 10 a. m. at Gudes Funeral Home, 4050 E. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa (33610), Rev. Randolph, officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bush- nell, FL.
Mr. Coleman Beamon, Jr. was born in Moultrie, GA to the late Mr. Coleman Beamon and Fannie Beamon. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Middle- ton High School.
Immediately after high school he joined the U. S. Navy, serving as an Electronic Technician. He continued his education at Rut- gers University in New Brunswick, N. J.
Coleman loved the Lord. He was a Bible reader for Rev. Ernest Brown at the New Jerusalem Ho- liness Church of God in Christ, Newark, N. J. Coleman was Pres- ident of Morrisania’s Youth and Community Service Center, a state funded program, Bronx, N. Y. He received many certificates and awards for outstanding serv- ices.
Coleman’s passion for cook- ing delicious meals for family and friends encouraged him to take a job with Amtrax Railroad as a chef. He retired after 25 years of service. After retirement Cole- man returned to Tampa. Cole- man did not meet a stranger. He was known and loved by all. He was very knowledgeable in all areas. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and pos- itive way.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Coleman and Fannie Beamon; sister, Mary Frances Beamon; his brother-in-law, Eddie Dorn; and a very good friend, Eddie Woodie, Jr.
He leaves to cherish precious memories to: his children, Carrie White, Nutley, NJ, Karmen Bea- mon, Newark, NJ, Coleman Bea- mon, III, Newark, NJ, Duane Beamon, Newark, NJ, and Mark Seabrooks, Atlanta, GA; compan- ion, Thelma Branton and her children, Michael and Duke; grandchildren, Tyrone White (Ayeefha) Maplewood, NJ, LeAnne White, Linden, NJ, Jeream Lewis, Newark, NJ, Johnathan Lewis, Newark, NJ, and Duane Martinez, Newark, NJ; very devoted and caring sis- ters, Inester Davis (Otis), Jewell Christmas (Billy) and Rosa Dorn; seven great-grandchildren; niece, Nadine Singletary; nephew, Nathan Chico Singletary; cousins, Rosby McCaskill and Patricia Stubbs, West Palm Beach, FL; a host of family members and friends. A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Kimberly Hollinshead of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017, will be held Wednesday, June 7th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., a local minister will of- ficiate. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kimberly was born October 12, 1978 in Tampa, Florida. She enjoyed doing hair and spending time with her daughters.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Ronald Hollinshead; grandmother, Lillie Mae Hollinshead; and uncle, Homer Hollinshead.

MR. KHANDO NIGEL KERR ‘CHIP’
A homegoing celebration for Mr. Khando Nigel Kerr of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on May 16, 2017, will be held Saturday, June 3rd, 2 p. m. at Temple Crest Baptist Church, 8425 N. 40th Street, Pastor Don Hassee, with Apostle Cornelius Hamilton, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Khando was born July 3, 1979 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. He en- joyed cutting hair, dancing, play- ing video games and making others laugh.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Nigel Kerr, Sr. and Chiquita Hamilton; grand- mother, Ellen Hamilton; uncle, Harold Hamilton; and step-fa- ther, Bryan Kelly.

MR. JULIUS BURNETT, JR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Julius Burnett, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Julius was born on October 3, 1930 to the late Julius Burnett, Sr. and James Edna in Safety Harbor, Florida. He served as a Marine in the United States Military. Later, he joined St. Matthew Baptist Church and worked for Creative Concrete as a heavy equipment operator for over 20 years. Julius enjoyed fishing, scratching lottery tickets, gardening, spending time with his family and driving his RV.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Julius Burnett, Sr. and James Edna; brothers, Theopolis, Ponder Lee and Abby Burnett; sisters, Margaret Everett, Mary Ellis, Elnora Walker and Edith Page.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories with: his children, Judith Burnett and Ponda Burnett (Kelly); step-children, Harriet Mckenzie, Willette Clemmons, Vincent Raffington and Ann Dxion (Delrow); grandchildren, Alicia, Olivia, Janae and Ponda, Jr. Burnett and Raphael Mcken- zie; great granddaughter, Alisan- dra Marte; sister, Mildred Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mother Oscie Mae Craw- ford Harrison, 98, was born May 5, 1919 in Pineview, Geor- gia to the late Leo and Susie Collier. She believed her long life was due to a life of exercis- ing and her faith in God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her sons, Leo Lawson and Fredrick Lawson; sisters, Alma Dykes, Gertrude Balk- man Scott, Susie Hawkins and Ruth Collier; brothers, Au- gusta Collier and Rudolph Col- lier.
She was a longtime resi- dent of New Jersey, where she attended Monumental Baptist Church. Ms. Harrison was a retired seamstress. After be- coming disabled she was under the care of a devoted goddaughter, Daisy James, be- fore moving to Tampa. While in Tampa, she was cared for by her devoted nephew, Robert Balkman and his wife, Jeanette. She joined Oak Hill M. B. Church under the lead- ership of Dr. Victor Ball, where she served until her prolonged illness.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Grace Jackson of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; devoted nephew, Robert Balkman (Jeanette); devoted goddaugh- ter, Daisy James; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and a very special friend, Mr. Harold Tellis.
Visitation for Ms. Oscie M. Crawford Harrison will be this Friday from 6-8 p. m. at Oak Hill M. B. Church. Proces- sional will assemble on Satur- day 10:45 a. m. at the church.
