MR. CURTIS E. THOMAS, JR.
Homegoing services for Mr. Curtis E. Thomas, Jr., aka, “Geza,” who passed away on April 27, 2017, will be held Sat- urday, June 3, 2017 at 1 p. m. at New St. Peter’s Apostolic Church, 6429 Oran Street, Tampa, FL, 33610. Deacon Steve Jordan, officiating. In- terment will be placed in Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave Tampa, FL 33604.
Curtis was born on May 14, 1977 to Curtis Eugene Belamy and Dorothy Belinda Jordan. His education began in Belle Glades, Florida. After relocat- ing to Tampa in 1985 he con- tinued his education in Hillsborough County Public Schools.
Curtis “Geza” Thomas had some troublesome times, made mistakes, endured many trials and tribulations, but loved his children. Curtis “Geza” Thomas’s life took a dramatic change at age 14 after the tragic death of his best friend, Tony.
Curtis “Geza” is preceded in death by: his brother, Johnny Mac Johnson, Jr., aka Pnut; grandmother, Lela Mae Dowan; step-grandfather, Tommy Dowan; uncles, William Roger, Sr., and Theodore Jordan.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: father, Curtis Eugene Belamy; mother, Dorothy Belinda Jor- dan; grandfather, Leroy Thomas; great uncle, Eddie Fletcher; children: son, Curtis Eugene Thomas, III, aka Pnut; daughters, Da’nae Thomas, Y’ceania Thomas, Da’niya Thomas; aunts, Eddie Mae, Vi- vian, Jennifer, Emma Joyce, Marion, Leisa; uncles, Robert (Hazel), Arthur, Ricardo, Wayne, Reginald, Steve (Lucy), Danny, Reginald C; nieces, Courtney, Oriel, Jazmine; his children’s mother, Treania Wilcox; stepson, Kenny; spe- cial cousins, Audrey, Kimberly, Theandria, William, Jr., William, III, all raised like sib- lings, and a host of other friends and relatives.
Visitation for Mr. Curtis “Geza” Thomas will be held this Friday from 6-8 p. m. at New St. Peter’s Apostolic Church. The processional will assemble at the church on Sat- urday at 12:45 p. m.

MR. ERNEST ANTION CHRISTIAN
Mr. Ernest Antion Christian of Plant City passed away Monday, May 22, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend David Jones, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Ernest Antion Christian was a native of Tampa and was known as “Little E.” He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Robinson High School, Class of 2004. Mr. Chris- tian was a big sports fan, he loved WWE Wrestling, Monday Night Raw, San Antonio Spurs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Duke Blue Devils and the Florida State Seminoles.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Sheldon Jones; de- voted grandparents, Clarettha Johnson, Willie Christian and Shebby Jones; aunts, Carnetta Johnson, Lizzie Ross Williams and Viola Miller; uncles, Edward Johnson, Lester Ross, Sr.; and great grandparents, Sara Ross Johnson and Thomas Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his mother, Jacquelyn Christian; four sisters, Kennitta and Tikesia Christians of Tampa, FL, Andriane (Mike) Smith and Amanda Christian of South Car- olina; nieces, Harmoni, Ny’Angle, Zahmaria and Zoe; nephews, Seth, Gabe, and Damon Smith; aunts and uncles, Ernest (Flestia) McClendon, Johnny Christian, Sabrina Christian, Hedi Chris- tian, Viola Christian, Ann John- son, Sara Johnson, Rod Jones, and Calvin Johnson; cousins, Venicea McClendon, Ernest Mc- Clendon, Jr., Renyarda McClen- don, Johnathan Philoey, K’avini Lee, Xiomary Lee, Essence Chris- tian, Lyric Christian, Azyria, Jamal Christian and Lajah Chris- tian; a host of other cousins, rela- tives and friends.

MR. MICHAEL H. JOHNSON
Mr. Michael H. Johnson of Tampa, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. A proud father, son, uncle and nephew, an awesome big brother, and a friend to all who knew him, Mike will be sadly missed. As a child growing-up in the Mott’s home, his grandpar- ents and auntie knew Michael would become a great man. His quiet, yet funny, personality was contagious. But, his “big heart” will be missed most of all. To know Michael was to love him.
Michael grew-up in Tampa, was educated in the Hillsbor- ough County School System, and remained close with many of his former classmates. He attended various churches under the leadership of his grandparents, Pastor and Sis. James and Chris- tine Mott. With an angelic voice, he awed listeners who often in- vited him to return for singing events at churches, and other venues.
In his free time, Mike en- joyed riding with his Road Vil- lains motorcycle club brothers, where he loved to sit and fellow- ship with them regularly.
He was preceded in death by his: daughter, Tatum Christine Michelle Johnson; father, Carl Henry Johnson, Sr.; grandfa- ther, Pastor James B. Mott; grandmother, Missionary Chris- tine Lewis Mott; great aunt, Sal- lie M. Pringley; great grandmother, Lola Mae Dixon; grandmother, Clyde Mae Dixon; and aunt, Judy Sheppard.
Michael leaves to celebrate his life: brother, Carl Johnson, Jr. (Mya); sister, Adrienne Shep- pard Johnson; sons, Dominick and Anthony Johnson; birth mother, Tommie Lee Sheppard; uncles, Donel Mott and Thomas Dixon; aunts, Min. An open viewing will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m., at Ray Williams Funeral Home. All Michael’s friends and loved ones are wel- come.
MS. GLORIA J. STEPHENS
Ms. Gloria J. Stephens passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. The Homegoing Celebra- tion will be conducted, Saturday, June3,at2p.m.atNewMount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive with Rev- erend Larry Roundtree, II, Pas- tor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Gloria J. Stephens was a native of Williston, Florida and a resident of Tampa for over 60 years. She attended Hillsborough Community College and obtained her Associate’s Degree in Busi- ness Management and later re- ceived her cosmetology license from Erwin Technical. Ms. Stephens also was a member of the Voices of Praise and GMWA Tampa Bay Gospel choirs and was also an active member of differ- ent ministries within her church. She was co-owner of Khair Stylist Hair Salon for over 34 years in the Tampa Bay area, and also a very successful real estate in- vestor for the past 17 years.
Left to cherish her memories are: her parents, William and Mary Jones; her siblings, Vivian, Randell and Jackie Jones; her two children, Lloyd Wright and Sylena Escalante; seven grand- children, Elijah Brown, Shayla Wright, Shayla Keels, Sherika Byrd, Tahwan Keels, and Carmi and Levi Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other grieving relatives and friends.
There will be a visitation on Friday, June 2, from 5 to 8 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MRS. BARBARA MANN
Mrs. Barbara Mann of Tampa passed away Monday, May 22, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 3rd, at 11 a. m. at Revela- tion Community Missionary Baptist Church, 7225 E. Chelsea Street, with Reverend Dr. G. B. Robinson, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Barbara Mann was a native of Tampa and was reared in Orlando, FL where she was educated by the public Schools of Orlando, attending Jones High School. She gave her life to the Lord later in life and attended St. Mary Baptist Church in Taft, FL where she was a member until she relo- cated to Tampa, FL in 1981. Mrs. Mann joined Faith Tem- ple M. B. Church where she served in the Voices of Faith Choir, Choir Number 1, Hospi- tality Committee and where ever she was needed. She loved people and serving the Lord and served faithfully for over 12 years and was a missionary and mother in training. Faith Temple M. B. Church moved and is now named Revelation Community M. B. Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Almar Huggin and Joe Cason; and her aunt who raised her, Sis. Lula Melvin and her husband, Ben Melvin; her husband, Sylvester Mann in 1997; one son, Kenny Melvin of Orlando, FL and one sister, Curdell Huggin.
