Jaden Smith’s Prom Attire Draws Eyebrows
Big Boss Shonda Rhimes Warns Staff And Cast To Stop The Gossip
SHONDA RHIMES
Shonda Rhimes is re- portedly furious that someone on her “Grey’s Anatomy” staff ran to Radar Online claiming Patrick Dempsey was fired from the show because he had an affair with one of the staffers.
Not long after the website posted this person’s account, the series creator reportedly sent a harsh email to cast and crew, warning them to keep quiet about the affair — or fol- low McDreamy out the door.
As Radar reported, Dempsey was suddenly fired from Grey’s in April, just a few months after his wife of 15 years, Jillian Fink, filed for divorce. Soon, it was revealed that he had been having an af- fair with a much-younger staffer from the show.
Dempsey’s rep previously denied the affair.
Whoopi Back On The View After Her Brother’s Sudden Death
WHOOPI GOLDBERG
Whoopi Goldberg had to take a leave of absence from “The View” early last week to fly to Los Angeles and deal with a “family emergency.” It was subsequently revealed that the Oscar winner’s only sibling, Clyde Johnson, had suffered a brain aneurysm and died on May 11. He was 65.
The actress, back in her co- host’s chair Tuesday (May 19), thanked well wishers for their kind words and paid tribute to her older brother.
“I’m really quite happy to be back. Thank you for all of the outpouring of sympathy,” she said. “My brother, Clyde Johnson, was an amazing cat... He was the funny one of the family. He and my mother together were insane.”
Whoopi then revealed she was considering scattering her brother’s ashes at Disneyland, his favorite place. She scat- tered her mother Emma Johnson’s ashes there after she died in 2010.

Photographer Suing Rick Ross For Using His Photo In Video
No More Fighting Allowed
A photographer is slap- ping Rick Ross with a law- suit for using one of his photos of Jay Z without his permission.
In his video for Rick and Jay’s “Movin’ Bass” collabo- ration, a picture snapped by Armen Djerrahian back in 2003 appeared for a milli- second in the video.
Djerrahian is now suing for the profits that Def Jam made from the usage of the

A new report indicates that three men connected to the murder of rapper Chinx were taken into custody Mon- day afternoon after NYPD’s SWAT team raided a home in Far Rockaway, Queens.
Chinx leaves behind a wife Janelli Pickens. The couple, who were married eight years, grew up together in Far Rockaway and had two daughters, ages 14 and 11, and

Diddy has been feeling some type of way about Drake ever since he felt that Drake stole the “0 to 100′′ beat from him last year. It was also alleged that the two came to blows outside of a Miami nightclub, LIV, over the song, leaving the “6 God” with an injured shoulder. Now, the two have allegedly made amends.
According to reports the two made peace over the phone. They decided that since they are going to be run- ning into each other a lot at various events and they both have albums dropping soon,

The troops at “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” have received their marching orders, so to speak, from the generals at VH1: No more fights!
Well, that’s what the deal is and it’s because the suits at the network have been told by the sponsors that it’s time to dial down the ratchetry.
The cast was forced to sign documents agreeing to put their manicured claws (and fists) away ... after major ad- vertisers started complaining. Show execs flew to Atlanta 2 weeks ago to lay down the law.
We’re told all cast mem- bers who brawl during taping will be cut from the episode without pay and suspended.

They could also face possible termination.
It’s a risky move, since ‘LHHA’ has become VH1’s most popular show, by far — and let’s face it, fights are part of its winning formula.
On the other hand, just the threat of hardcore punish- ment seems to be working. We hear the cast has resorted to screaming matches because nobody wants to lose their money.

Mariah Carey Resolves Lawsuit
With Former Personal Assistant
A lawsuit involving Mariah Carey and a former assistant has been resolved, thanks to a confidential settle- ment reached by the singer.
Newly filed court docu- ments reveal the dispute stemmed from claims made by Ylser Oliver, who accused Carey of violating labor laws by not giving her breaks, in addition to not paying her more than 4,000 overtime hours.
The 44-year-old ex-assis- tant worked for Carey from May 2007 – June 2014 before she quit.
Among her duties were cleaning Carey’s New York home, packing her suitcases and taking care of her per- sonal needs. In her suit, Oliver mentioned that she often traveled with Carey and took care of her personal and private correspondences.

Oliver is demanding all of the 4,000-overtime hours of pay along with damages for Carey’s willful disregard for the labor laws.
As it turned out, a response to the allegations in Oliver’s lawsuit was never filed by Carey, adding that the case had been pending since last year.
Despite this, Carey has taken action via her lawyer who filed documents on May 12 stating that the vocalist reached a settlement with Oliver and that the matter had been resolved in principle.
